Hello.
I'm about to build my first PC and I am a little bit confused about the process that one should go through after building. Literally every video I watched had something about some XMP profile for ram in BIOS that has to be changed, but then my friend told me to not change anything because it will mess things up. Therefore, I'm a bit confused now. I am not really sure if it pays of to do any OC in the beginning either. I'm a newbie, so I wouldn't even know where to start.
But aside from installing Windows, what else should I change, set up etc. before I get to install drivers and then games? Also, should I update BIOS? What drivers will I need exactly?
