  1. Omg, how cheap it is ! Back in the days, when I wanted to play, the only available device was HD Fury, which costed 100$+
  2. Guys, you forgot to note one importat thing : the monitor must support HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) If it has HDMI input, it should support it. If it has DVI only, be careful, I bought ps3 originally to play on my LCD monitor, so I bought ps3 with HDMI->DVI cable. It was not working, as my monitor didn't have support for hdcp. To sum it up: if it has HDMI use it, it will work. If it has DVI only, check whether it supports hdcp.
  3. I am not sure, whether does it work with speakers, I wanted to say that "Software doesn't crash when i set it on analog output instead of digital. Thanks for claryfying things for me And does it crash, when you set the SBC2 to Optical-Digital ? So, solution for me would be that Dolby Digital Live (DDL) Sound card, right ? What's the purpose / how does this card work ? It takes games surround sound (5.1 or 7.1), encode it to Dolby Digital and send to optical output ? Does these cards usually comes with some software, that could emulate surround from my "stereo only" games / movies - that is Dolby Pro Logic, right ? As this card need to process the sound, is there any notable lag ? Edit: I checked Xonar DX - it's missing optical output ;(
  4. How will it simulate ? If I understand you correctly, it won't transform it to DOlby Digital, it will rather use my front speakers to emulate surround ? One more thing comes to my mind: what number version of SBC are you using ? Could you try to upload your installer somewhere and provide me a link ? Maybe the latest version from MSI website is corrupt. Edit: I have come to something interesting - when i switch OPTICAL HD Audio in SBC2, or Set it to automatic (and in windows I select optical as Default) -> the problem occurs. When i switch to Speakers / in windows i select speakers as default (analog connection), software works. Interesting. Could you try it on optical output please ?
  5. x-eagleeye-x -> and does it have function, that I am awaiting from the software ? Is it able to transform surround to Dolby Digital, or transform 2 channel sound to surround ? Please give me some info, what is that software capable of. So I would know, if it's worth hassling and reinstalling (because I have already tried to reinstall it). Btw, I am using Win 8.1 x64 pro. Interesting to see, that you have Msi Z97 Gaming 7 too -> how does your sound card show up in Control Panel -> Sound => in default playback mode i can select only 2 channel modes, not surround.
  6. Do you have some reccomendation for card like this ? One of reasons, why I bought this motherboard was it's "dedicated" sound card, so i was hoping, that it will be able to do it for me. Or does exist some specialized software for this ? I woudln't hesitate to purchase it, if the price was normal and such software existed.
  7. ^^does anybody really don't know ?^^ _____________________________
  8. Ok, i tried Counter Strike Source with 5.1 settings, but nothing happens. Then i downloaded some 5.1 test video, on the audio-video receiver DOLBY DIGITAL lightens up and sound is working perfectly. Anyway, i was hoping, that Sound Blaster Cinema will be able to transform 2 channel music/video/games or those games as cs source into S/PDIF. Reinstall didn't work btw.
  9. Have you fixed it ? Or how do you configure 5.1 sound ? I bought toslink cable because of this, and now I am running in 2 channel mode ;(
  10. Hello, have someone experienced this ? I have latest version downloaded from MSI's web site. I can switch between music, movie etc no problem. But when I click on settings button (highlighted on picture), I get the message shown in picture and the application crashes.
  11. Hmm, it is whinig slightly on idle. When i bench CPU / GPU only, it whines louder. And when i put my PC on full load - CPU and GPU on benchmarking, it's quiet. But it's definitely hearable. Also, is there any way to make sure, that it's the PSU ? The sure bet would be to remove graphics card from system probably. GPU whines too, quite loud, but only at 100% load during Furmark.
  12. Hello, My Seasonic X Series 750 started whining yesterday. First day, it was nice and quiet. Yesterday it started squealing like a pig. Ok, i am bit oversensitive on high-frequency sound and I have my pc on table. But is this normal ? Should I worry and try to exchange it, or is it common, and new one will probably do the same ? As far, as I know, the PSU should be single rail, so wrong cable connections shoudln't be a problem ? First, I thought it is a GPU - it was hearable when GPU benchmarking. But on GPU benchmark it is different. Then i tried leave the card as is and bench CPU -> whining again. When i put both - CPU and GPU for benchmark, the whining magically disappears, or it is lot quieter. What's your oppinion on this ?
  13. And THIS. Actions scenes are extremely uncomfortable, as the guy I am shooting at is crispy, but others blend with background.
  14. Hello, I've installed the mod from link, you provided - I installed 3.1 Warm -> only patch.dat, patch.fat and gamer profile. I didn't bother with SweetFX. The game runs butter smooth, however I noticed very annoying depth of field. Have you noticed this also, or have you fixed it ? Or does SweetFX make it better ? Look at those pictures. Object, i am aiming at is crispy clear, but surrounding is super-blured. Also, I am unable to run Shadowplay. Ok, i can enable it, I was also enable to record some footage in counter strike source, but in watchodgs it doesnt record and it doesn't show fps at all.
  15. I mean cracking due to too much torque. In past, i managed to break screw due to massive overturning. It just split in half :D
  16. It was a bit over the edge of cpu -> so after cleaning, i put just a very little lesser, as I was affraid of paste "dripping" into the socket over the time. Temps still jump sometimes higher, but I don't care anymore. In idle it sits on 32degs. After proper heatup (2 hours watchdogs), and letting it cool it settles on 35C, which now seems perfect to me. Now, my new worry -> can the cooler fall off after the time ? I have feeling, that i tightened it just too much yesterday I was turning screws until they "stopped", but then i give it just a little more turn (less than quarter of turn). Now I am affraid that, when metal expands, it will crack and fall off, but I really, really don't want to open up the case :D
  17. Guys, how do you measure your fps ? I opened Precision X, enabled OSD, but no data are displayed. It's working - I was able to see info in Counter Strike Source, but in watchdogs, it's simply not there. I set frame-buffering to 1, Textures on high, everything else as in article by nvidia (1st post). Game seems very playable now, although it sometimes lags during action intensive scenes. Currently, it eats up 2130,5MB out of my 16GB memory.
  18. What is borderless mode ? When i started the game for first time, it runned windowed -> there was X on the upper right corner, but it was almost out of my screen - so I immediatelly pressed ALT-ENTER and the game went in fullscreen - that is borderless mode ?
  19. So I removed the heatsink to check thermal paste spread. This is, what I found. It seemed little more than ideal - on the photo it looks worse than in real world. So i cleaned both - heatsink and cpu with isopropyl alcohol, leaved residue to evaporate and reapplied bundled NH-T1 paste - little lesser than last time. Idle temps (according to Realtemp 3.7) are 31/32/29/32 degrees Celsius, according to mobo display - 33 degrees. I ran Intel Extreme Tuning - Stress Test - CPU for 30 minutes, and results are attached. no throttling at all intel extreme tuning - max temperature 72 C RealTemp 3.7.0 - max temperatures 71/75/70/67 So it seems to me, that I have really nothing to worry about.
  20. Hello, have somebody managed to run watchdogs without lags on gtx780 ? I have Evga GTX780 SC ACX, running stock clocks. First I set everything according to this - http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/watch-dogs-graphics-performance-and-tweaking-guide , but game was like 0,5 sec "behind the mouse". No stuttering, but lag between mouse and monitor. And in huge car-fast moving scenes, also stutter occurs. I tried lowering textures, so it need only 2 gigs of memory, it helped a bit but again stutter in heavy graphics scenes. Also I can't get used to car driving, controls seems "behind the mouse / keyboard". Have someone fix for this ? Thanks
  21. Can someone please confirm that the spiky behaviour is ok ? Because my previous pcs never did that. Also on brother's build - 4770k with CM 212 EVO S, the temperatures are stable, not jumping up and down...
  22. Now, the temps during watchdogs gameplay was 60C. So you are saying, these temps are ok, and I don't have to worry about it, right ?
  23. Btw, I didn't even use "Silence adaptor". Do you use one in your system ?
  24. My never run below 33 in idle, actually my idle temp is 35 for most of the time. But i don't want to remove whole board from the case. And i am affraid, that i will not be able to reattach the cooler in such tight space, and then the fan.
