  1. HI All, Apologies if this doesn't live here, this is my first post and I couldn't find a specific home for it. I don't know how many people own a pair of the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless earphones, but I do know that it's likely owners of them have faced some issues with them at some point. This probably isn't breaking news but sennheiser are working on a generation 2 of these earphones aptly named 'Momentum True Wireless 2'. I posted a breakdown of all the information I gathered from an FCC document that was submitted elsewhere, but I'll also post it here for your informative pleasure. All information I have detailed is sourced from the document submitted to the FCC. Naturally, this could be subjected to change and I urge you to take this information with some scepticism, that being said it wouldn't make much sense to submit documents to the FCC and then change them on release. All information is publicly available on the FCC's website, leading me to believe that its dissemination cannot be controlled. I haven't conducted a thorough read of each piece of documentation, some of them are fairly lengthy, however feel free to take a look at the entire report yourself: https://fcc.report/FCC-ID/DMOM3IETW2R Internal / Generic Information The Momentum True Wireless 2 has an internal product ID of M3IETW2. The device is too small for a physical FCC logo/ID to appear so it's being placed in the manual instead. Source: https://fccid.io/DMOM3IETW2R/Letter/Reply-from-FCC-Labelling-exemption-for-M3IETW2-R-and-M3IETW2-L-4544239 The FCC appears to have approved the MTW2 on the 12/12/2019. Source: https://fccid.io/DMOM3IETW2R (Bottom of the page). Colours From the documentation submitted to the FCC (External Photos), it appears that at least the case will be available in black and white variations. Source: https://fccid.io/DMOM3IETW2R/External-Photos/External-Photos-4544211 Additional Features From the documentation submitted to the FCC (User Manual), it appears that the MTW2 will have Active Noise Cancelling, by default activated with 3 presses of the right earbud. This has changed the appearance of the earbuds by providing an additional grill for presumably more microphones. (See External Photos) Source: https://fccid.io/DMOM3IETW2R/Users-Manual/Users-Manual-4544217 Release period A confidentiality document (Woops) seems to suggest a marketing date of May 1 2020. The same document also suggests that the product has been postponed at some point. Source: https://fccid.io/DMOM3IETW2R/Letter/Confidentiality-STC-4553911 Additional Notes The FCC website for some reason provides a 'Purchase on Amazon' link for the MTW2: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=MOMENTUM+True+Wireless+2+%28M3IETW2%29&tag=fid08-21
