  1. Does anyone know where I can get a black shroud plate? (Specifically from a white/black) edition. Just need this last piece. I have $ if anyone is interested. Don't really want to paint it. Would rather just find one and swap one. I have a red one that's brand new . (Just got my case tonight)! Thanks.
  2. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/w4JRYJ Yeah.. I found a list and it did say the 4690K was compatible with the Z87 Gigabyte G1 Sniper board.
  3. Is there a green Z97 board that I could replace? I really liked how the Z87 board glowed green. It seems weird having a red board, blue ram, and then having the green glow of the 780. Thanks!
  4. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Vg8XJx How's this look? Everything should be compatible? EDIT: Does the i5 4690K work with the Gigabyte G1. Sniper Z87 mobo?
  5. Even if I stuck with the 4670K and the Gigabyte mobo and the 780 would they be all compatible? I really want to keep the build around 1,500 but spending an extra 50$ for the 16GB of ram is worth it. If I had the extra money I would go for a i7 with a GTX Titan. Thanks for the replies!
  6. I posted a new build thread about 6 months ago planning to get a new pc but things came up and now I'm ready to hopefully pull the trigger and build a pc for the first time very soon. Since then I have revised it, so here is what I got! CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($210.00 @ NCIX US) CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($92.99 @ NCIX US) Motherboard: Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($174.98 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($175.99 @ Amazon) Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($79.00 @ Amazon) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($69.99 @ NCIX US) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Superclocked Video Card ($489.99 @ Newegg) Case: NZXT H440 (White/Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($99.99 @ Newegg) Power Supply: Corsair CX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($71.00 @ Newegg) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($89.98 @ OutletPC) Total: $1553.91 http://pcpartpicker.com/p/F9RH7P As for a monitor, mouse, and keyboard: I already have a mouse and plan on purchasing a razer keyboard after the build is complete. As for a monitor, I need some suggestions. I will be using this pc for mainly FPS games such as BF4, Call of Duty. On my old thread someone recommended the Acer H236HLbid, is that still a good monitor for my needs? Thanks!
  7. Please let me know what you guys think!
  8. Thanks guys for the help! I think this is what I am going with! If you guys have any other suggestions let me know! http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3j7Tk
  9. If I can I want to keep this build within 1.5K.. Thanks!
  10. Not really.. If I downgraded it how much money would I really save? Are there any compatibility issues with these parts? Thanks!
  11. Location: USOS: Windows 7 Budget: ~2K (including peripherals) Peripherals: Not too sure what kind of keyboard/mouse combo I want to do. I will probably use my blue Razer Death-adder I purchased and pair it with a CORSAIR keyboard. For my monitor I definitely want to go 24". Any recommendations? Something not too crazy but reasonable. Quick response ! Thanks!
  12. Hello LTT Forums: I've always wanted to build my own PC and that time has finally come. Having very little expericence, I've put together some parts from looking at other builds and forming them into what parts appealed to me personally. Would all of these parts be compatible with each other and also if anyone can help me out and recommend a different or better alternative part to either better the build that would be awesome!
