  1. They are set to UEFI and uefi version of windows
  2. I have the latest bios and it didn't work with an older one either
  3. It is top and theres no setting
  4. Ive done that multiple times already
  5. I can see it in diskmgmt and I can use it as storage without problems. It's just booting that doesn't work.
  6. I don't have one unfortunately
  7. As the title says, it's an NVMe SSD, and since I do not have any other storage devices plugged in, the boot priority doesn't need to be changed. The NVMe SDD is at the top.
  8. I know there are other threads about this but nothing seems to work. I've got a GIGABYTE X570 AORUS ELITE motherboard. I can install windows on it with no problem but when I try to boot, it says that it isn't a proper boot device. BIOS version F11 (latest). Any ideas? I have tried unplugging all other storage devices. When I tried to boot from another SATA SSD there were no problems. "Windows Boot Manager" doesn't show up in BIOS as it did for the old SSD.
  9. Thanks! Yeah the fan ramping up and down constantly can get very annoying. I'll adjust the fan curve.
