  1. Issue is back, new ram seemd to help a few days, then it's back to whatever is going on here. I've replaced everything but the GPU by now, so my vega 56 may be the culprit, unless it's my logitech keyboard or connected monitors wich should not have an impact tbh.. don't see how they could. The weird thing is, it does not do this in windows 7.
  2. I do not think this is the case. They could clock to 3600 with the same result, and if i clocked them down to original speed or all the way down to ddr4 standard spec, they still acted the same. There was something actually wrong with these sticks from day one, clocking them didn't make a difference on the system interupts, only fps in games. The new sticks does not throw interupts left and right that lasts this long, so problem solved anyway.
  3. Problem found. It was my Corsair LPX samsung ram that caused the issue. Replaced it with 3200Mhz variant instead of the 2666Mhz i had, problem went away. Kinda strange, as the ram i had was clocked to the same speed, just with more voltage and stable in all other manners. Must have been causing some process interupts.
  4. I would like to recomend ARGUS monitor. It is much like speedfan, but unlike speedfan it actually works on new systems. It can control any fan header with any temperature sensor, and thus makes for a rather convenient piece of software to keep your temperatures in check. It costs money, but the free trial did last me several months before i bought it. It wasn't expensive, and i bought it because it actually works better than anything out there.
  5. Not running xmp, i'm only setting my ram speed and voltage, no timing changes at all. I havent had any stutters while gaming today, but just watching youtube i had two consecutive stutters that sounded like meep moop and then it's back to normal for a long time. This really boggles my mind! Well, when in doubt, add more voltage. Edit Also, does anyone know if i should increase Vsoc when overclocking the infinity fabric on zen2?
  6. My temps are between 40 and 50C during gaming loads, bios OC. i havent ran any benchmarks yet, only a 15m memtest to see if the 3200mhz ram oc was working at all.
  7. Sorry, i forgot to answer that, I'm using onboard realtech stuff, also use the realtech driver because it has a nice eq. I think it is B-die, i have a vague recollection of using some software to look it up once. I also have the aurasync software running, but the stuttering was present before i installed it after last reinstall.
  8. What DO you associate it with? Right, i've tried increasing it from 1.38 ish to 1.415 before you answered me, i'll have to give it time, but if 1.45 is normally fine for ddr4 then i will test with current voltage while i try modded minecraft, that's a resource hog that triggers it. I use driverbooster once a week, i've struggled with this for a long time, so i allways keep drivers up to date. Everything carried over, but i also had this issue on another motherboard from gigabyte; ab350 something. Windows version 1909 (18363.535) I have used latency-mon to find the culprit of these issues for over a year, and it allways report random drivers, some times it say network driver, sometimes audio driver, sometimes VGA driver, and thus i have also tried ever driver i could find for these without success. The issue is much less with new CPU and new ramspeed and voltage, so going by your estimates, i can try a bit more if my current voltage still gives stuttering.
  9. System specifications: MOBO Asus x470 gaming f (newest bios as to this date) CPU R5 3600 (oc all core 4.2 with 1.375v (infinityfabric set to 1600mhz) RAM 2x8 corsair lpx 2666 cl16 @ 3200mhz @ 1.415v (CMK16GX4M2A2666C16) (samsung) BOOT 256gb nvme ssd. w10 pro. Issue: Under load the system has microstutter where any sound that is bein played will repeat in an anoying buzz until the system catches up again. it lasts for half a second some times, sometimes much shorter. I have just upgraded my system from a r5 1500x oc to 3.8ghz and ram was oc to 3000mhz due to infinity fabric limitations. When i used the 1500x i had these stutters very often, like several times over a few hours. It's less with my new cpu and higher ram clocks, but it's still here, so something isn't stable. Question: What do you think causes it? What is the max safe voltage of these ram sticks?
