CPU - Intel Core i7-3820
MotherBoard - Intel DX79T0
CPU Cooler - Cooler Master MASTER LIQUID LITE 120
GPU - Some DDR3 (i didn't remember the brand)
This motherboard has been assembled 9 years back. From then onwards I have to remove everything else except the motherboard. So, under it, I have seen a lot of dust I want to clear it off.
Hence, I have removed everything from the case, cleaned it and re-assembled it. After re-assembling my CPU is getting overheated and shutting down after 2 mins. To get shut down, I no need to boot OS. Just keeping it in BIOS is enough.
Even my liquid cooling system is unable to handle it. When I touch the pump pipes one is heated-up and another is less heated. So, I can confirm the pump is working. Yes, i have applied ample enough of thermal paste.
I would like to know if there is any solution to it?
