  4. if it makes any difference I've tried to put the chip back on and tried to run them as usual.. but the pc acted as if they are no ram at all, it just didn't load anything on the monitor.. only started showing bios at least for those few secs after i inserted only one of the sticks, the good one..
  5. it was a dual ram I've bought, one of them is ruined and the one i was trying to run was its pair... what do you mean beep codes? and where to look for these readout model numbers?
  6. Hey.. Was trying to remove my RAM heatsink thingy and ended with one of the chips stuck to the adhesive read a little and found out it is pretty much dead.. I'm left with one stick.. but when tried to plug it, the computer logs into bios but after a few secs it either restarts or just the monitor turns off while the computer still running.. with black screen and it says nothing is connected, after turn it off and on again it does the same thing,. tried to remove the battery to reset the bios and tried all 4 channels of the ram.. but one stick doesn't seen to work.. Any idea how to fix it?
  7. the only 8pin ones i have are the ones for the CPU but i think they look a little different
  8. Hey guys, I'm new to modding so i was wondering if you can help me with some issue i have.. i have this cable from Corsair power supply, the PCIE in one end where it goes to the psu it is 8pin, but on the other end where it goes to the gnu it is divided into two one 8pin and another 8pin that goes out of it.. My graphics card only needs 8pin connector and i want it to look esthetic and nice when sleeving the cables.. Is it possible to take out the 2nd 8pin and leave only 1x 8pin that will connect to the gpu? Thank you very much for your answers
  9. sent an email just but delivery of the email was canceled, maybe you don't have space on your mail sent it to admin@modgugu.net also if you don't mind answering again, 4mm is standard, but the only ones i can find here are bitspower's and they only show in inches, so is 4mm would be 1/8" ?
  10. i live atm in Russia, shipment would cost me more then cables lol
  11. Hey I would like to try my first sleeving for psu cables.. but I'm not sure about something.. I use corsair HX850i PSU with the cables came along with it, but I'm not sure which diameter sleeving should i buy? i was thinking 1/8" but correct me if I'm wrong.. i would buy pre sleeved cables but where I'm from its impossible to find.. not even order online.. tnx a lot
