  1. The only storage I have in my PC are two NVMe M.2 drives. I've already installed Windows 10, downloaded several games, and saved many documents, all to just one of my two NVME M.2 drives. RAID is something that I just learned about, and I want to use RAID 0 to stripe my data across both drives, for performance reasons. If I were to turn it on now, would all of the stuff I've previously saved onto just the one drive, now be striped across the two drives? Or am I going to have to delete all of my storage from the drive and restore it after I set up RAID?
  2. So if I did go ahead and install it, it wouldn't replace the NVIDIA driver that I already installed? Sorry if that's a dumb question (It's my first build). I also have a Rog Maximus XI Hero motherboard.
  3. After installing Windows 10, the first thing I did was install the driver for my Geforce RTX 2080 Super from NVIDIA.com. I then went to download the drivers for my motherboard, and noticed that it had a VGA driver listed. Am I right in assuming that I shouldn't install this?
  4. This is my first PC build. I have Windows 10 and just downloaded the drivers for my ASUS Rog Maximus XI Hero motherboard. I'm currently extracting the files, but am confused as to which Setup file I'm suppose to use. For Example, I just extracted the files for my Audio Driver, and notice that there is an ASUS Setup file, and just a Setup file. I've also noticed that for some of the other drivers I've downloaded, they also have multiple different Setup files. Which one am I suppose to use?
  5. Thank you so much! This is my first build and I've been stressing over this for the last couple of days, I couldn't tell that it was male because I've never seen the pins incased like that. Much appreciated!
  6. My motherboard is the Maximus XI Hero . Its power connectors are the 24 pin EATXPWR, 8 PIN EATX12V_1, and the 4 pin EATX12V_2. The MOBO user guide says that it's recommended you use a PSU that complies with ATX 12V Specification 2.0 (or later version). My PSU is a EVGA 750 GQ, and it says on the box that it complies with ATX12V V2.32 and EPS12V V2.92 . Are these two compatible with each other?
  7. My two CPU cables that came with the PSU are both female, and the MOBO sockets I need to plug them into are both female...
  8. So I wouldn't be able to overclock with just the 24 pin EATXPWR cable plugged into the MOBO? I'm just confused because my PSU didn't send any compatible cables for the other two (8 pin & 4 pin) sockets, even though on websites like pcpartpicker it shows that my PSU and motherboard are compatible. Is it normal for mainstream PSU's to not include these cables?
  9. I have an Intel i9-9900k processor, a Maximus XI Hero motherboard, and an EVGA 750 GQ PSU. I have ran the 24 pin EATXPWR cable from my PSU to the Motherboard. I also noticed on the MOBO that I have an EATX12V_1 (8 pin) Socket, and an EATX12V_2 (4 pin) socket. Do I need to run cables to these from the PSU also? I'm confused because my PSU didn't come with any compatible cables that fit into those sockets, but I read online somewhere that I need to plug into them if I plan on overclocking, which I do. Any ideas? And thanks to anyone out there with information to share.
