  1. Well, I tried that in both games, ETS2 and Pathfinder but didn't notice any improvements on the stuttering side. ETS2 only goes up a few FPS, depending on the area I am in, while Pathfinder seems to be capped at 90 FPS after disabling vsync and it also stutters a lot when moving. I searched info on Pathfinder and it looks like it's a Unity game and several people have issues with framerate even on way better HW than mine. I also started playing Metro: Last Light Redux on GOG, very high settings, vsync enabled and it's running great, super smooth.
  2. Wait, you're telling to disable vsync but capping frames? I'm not limiting the frames atm, since that's what vsync does by its own, but if I remove vsync the frames will go up until it can.
  3. I always have vsync enabled to avoid screen tearing. DDR4 RAM is setup correctly at 𝟸𝟼𝟼𝟼 ( @SkilledRebuilds). I have 16GB of it.
  4. I watched the performance tab on task manager, with CPU threads enabled and you're right. It bottlenecks on the first thread, maxing it out while the others are pretty low. Still unsure about Pathfinder because it's using all of the core/threads, I also set graphics to medium and it's still doing it.
  5. ETS2 runs on an SSD, Pathfinder on HDD. I thought the same about the 2600X bottlenecking my GPU, but..
  6. I don't understand.. You're saying that 1 core at 50% is a bad thing? What about the remaining 50%? Is the Windows task manager enough to test per core usage?
  7. Nope.. Two games that I'm playing right now are Euro Truck Simulator 2 on Steam and Pathfinder Kingmaker on Epic.
  8. Well, I only have total values right now, and the CPU stays lower than the GPU.
  9. Hello, I've got several games which stutter, going under 60FPS, when GPU usage ranges from 55 to 80%, never above that. I recently reset my Win 10 PC and the issue is still there, so I don't know where else to look. I have a Ryzen 5 2600X CPU and a GTX 1660 Gaming 6GB. What could the reason be for this to happen? Thanks EDIT: forgot to mention that I'm measuring values with HWiNFO and Rainmeter.
  10. Uninstalled. I'm not using the network (other than for background stuff) when playing games but I'll try to close most demanding running applications, like chrome, see if it gets better.
  11. Yesterday I played RDO throughout the day and CPU and GPU were at 75/77Β°C. I don't have any other PCIE card. Well, most of them is on the HDD which is actually real slow but for example, ETS2 is on my SSD because it's one of the games I play most and it doesn't take too much space, but I have similar issues. Can I just disable the GFE's overlay in settings or is it best to uninstall the whole thing? My network is pretty solid, doubt that can be a problem. It's all wired, PC is really close to the router and I really have zero issues with it. Thanks both btw.
  12. Hello, I think the title already covers what I have to say. Going from Euro Truck Simulator 2 to RDO, I'm getting random stutters (FPS almost always stay at 60 tho). I'm running all of my games at 1080p, I have recently used DDU to clean drivers and updated my AMD Chipset drivers too. Honestly I don't know what to think or do anymore.. I tried many software configurations for games I play most but nothing works.. Oh, and GeForce Experience would like me to set all of those games even at higher settings, when I already struggle to run them like it is. My Specs are the following and I'm running Win 10 Pro x64 Fully Up-To-Date: 𝙼𝙾𝙱𝙾: π™Άπš’πšπšŠπš‹πš’πšπšŽ π™±πŸΊπŸ»πŸΆ π™°π™Ύπšπš„πš‚ 𝙼 π™²π™Ώπš„: 𝙰𝙼𝙳 πšπš’πš£πšŽπš— 𝟻 πŸΈπŸΌπŸΆπŸΆπš‡ π™Άπ™Ώπš„: π™Όπš‚π™Έ π™Άπšƒπš‡ 𝟷𝟼𝟼𝟢 𝙢𝙰𝙼𝙸𝙽𝙢 πš‡ πŸΌπ™Άπ™± πšπ™°π™Ό: πŸ·πŸΌπ™Άπ™± π™³π™³πšπŸΊ 𝟸𝟼𝟼𝟼 𝚌𝟷𝟼 π™²πš˜πš›πšœπšŠπš’πš› πš…πšŽπš—πšπšŽπšŠπš—πšŒπšŽ πš‚πš‚π™³: π™Ίπ™Έπ™½π™Άπš‚πšƒπ™Ύπ™½ 𝙼.𝟸 πŸΈπŸ»πŸΆπ™Άπ™± π™½πš…π™Όπ™΄ π™°πŸΈπŸΆπŸΆπŸΆ 𝙷𝙳𝙳: πš‚πšŽπšŠπšπšŠπšπšŽ πš‚πšƒπŸΈπŸΆπŸΆπŸΆπ™³π™ΌπŸΆπŸΆπŸΎ π™±π™°πšπšπ™°π™²πš„π™³π™° πŸΈπšƒπ™± π™Ώπš‚πš„: π™²πš˜πš˜πš•πšŽπš› π™ΌπšŠπšœπšπšŽπš› πŸ»πŸΆπŸΆπš† 𝟾𝟢+ Any advice?
  13. I have the Temp folder on a RamDisk already, but if it doesn't save there..
  14. Well, I just wanted to make sure it doesn't write to my SSD.
  15. hello, does instant replay follow the same rules as recording, in regard to temporary folder? Asking because I've been monitoring my temp folder and when I start instant replay, only 3 TMP, 0 bytes files are saved.
