I've been looking for a good 27" 1440p monitor lately. I keep hearing good reviews about the Gigabyte Aorus AD27QD, the only problem being that it is an IPS panel, and therefore will not have the best blacks or black uniformity. Since the 'QD has such good reviews, I've been looking at other Aorus monitors, and the CV27Q looks very intriguing. The problem is, I can't find any info on the damn thing! I look for reviews on it, and all I get is stupid marketing, and people commenting "bUt ThAt Is A vA pAnEl GeT iPs". Does anyone here own this monitor and can tell me anything about it? Everyone says VA panels are bad for competitive FPS games, but I don't play any of those so that isn't an issue for me. I just hear that VA will have better contrast, and that a lot of them have color quality very close to IPS. Keep in mind that I'm coming from a 60hz 900p TN monitor, so even a low end VA would be better than what I have...
