  1. I tried different ports, it didn't work. Even when turning on the monitor the logo shows for a second but instead of showing the logo, it shows the same set of dead lines. It was $200 for one. How much would the repair cost? Could I get it repaired at a repair shop where they repair LCD/LED Monitors despite it being a VA Panel?
  2. Monitor just suddenly died as I turned it on this morning. It showed these lines of dead pixels I assume? There's no way it's the graphics card as I'm on the PC right now typing using the T.V as a display. The monitor is called a Specter Pro XT24NS, I have had it since Dec. 2018. I assume it died due to recent climate or weather changes in my country since in this time of the year it's varies, as it's usually humid and dry. Is there any way to fix this? Or is it busted? Is there anything I can replace or get repaired for it to be working again?
  3. Alright, thanks, I might go with the EC1-B or wait for the Glorious O to be available here.
  4. What's your current mouse? Do you think a EC1-B would be good for a Claw/Fingertip hybrid grip?
  5. It doesn't really matter if it's ambidextrous or not, as I have had both ambi and ergo mice before. But something solely right handed would be okay as well.
  6. Oh, lol, how long have you had the Normal Glaive then? I heard it had some heat problems, mouse wheel problems and double click problems.
  7. The Corsair Glaive Pro isn't available here yet, but do you have this mouse? What's the difference between the Pro and the normal one? I had my eyes on the Glaive before I even got the Logitech G403, but they said it had some problems hence why I went with the G403 instead. If you do have one, how long have you had it?
  8. I don't think mentioning the size of my hand is too much detail, I mentioned my Hands size due to being able to pinpoint on how large of a mouse should be recommended. How else should I describe my large hands then? I don't see anything wrong with it besides giving information. Plus, I'm pretty sure it's essential for someone out there to help me. Even Mice reviewers like Rocket Jump Ninja mentions the size of hands, and some people out there looking for mice mention it. Please don't bother responding if you find that tmi.
  9. I'm looking to replace my nearly 2 year old Logitech G403 due to scroll wheel issues/side grip issues that recently arised, my hands are 20/20.5 cm in length from the wrist to the utmost part of the middle finger, then 11 cm in width from my thumb to the little finger or even nearly 11.5 cm . I am a claw grip user, right hand user. But I have no idea what mouse should I pick from my personal options, so need a bit of help. I have a small amount of options to choose from, due to living in SEA, specifically the Philippines. I need help with choosing what mouse should be perfect for me, I do prefer not too heavy but not too light mice and also big ones like the FK1+ from Zowie, or the EC1-B. I previously have also had the Logitech G502 for nearly 2 years, and G602 for 1 year previously and liked how big and heavy those mice were, but the shape and simplicity of the G403 will be really nice aswell. I have previously holden a Logitech G102 and it's way too small for me. I have heard of the problems about certain Zowie mice.As well as some certain Steelseries mice like the Rival 600, and Logitech G603. I would prefer a mouse that would last long. I mostly play FPS games ( Mostly CS:GO ) although, I do also play casually. I have a $100 budget, can't order from Amazon and can only choose from local resellers, and these are the only mice I could choose from based on the size of my hands as well as watching or reading some reviews here and there. Zowie EC1-B, Zowie FK1+, Zowie FA11, Steelseries Rival 310, Steelseries Sensei 310, Steelseries Rival 600, or maybe another G403/G502? or the Logitech G303 Daedalus Apex and Logitech G603. There are some other mice I'm not really fond of, like Corsair, Razer, Asus, or maybe HyperX. But suggestions would also be nice, also for those owners of the said mice, I would very much like to hear your opinion.
  10. For the G403, it was probably the first batch of G403's that had problems with the Scroll wheel. I had my G403 since August of 2017 and never had any problems with it, the only problems I have with it that came up recently is the Sidegrips fading away due to heavy use or sweat. However, the scrollwheel did recently begin to bug out, a few weeks ago. Probably because it's aging, although I have no idea about the G603/G703. I do highly recommend the mouse, it has served me well for almost 2 years.
  11. The PSU clicks once when the PC turns on, then clicks once again when it turns off, i did some searching and they said it's fine, although i'm not sure. I tried turning XMP on, or off, no budge. I havent tried that, i will as soon as i have time and possibly update you. Stupid question but is it possible to have the 24 pin in reverse?
  12. Proccesor : i5 4670k PSU : Seasonic Focus 550FX CPU Cooler : Deepcool Gammaxx 300 Motherboard : Gigabyte Z87 D3HP Ram : Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1866 MHZ I dont know what exactly the problem is, the cause, or the reason why but i guess i have a clue. The Computer doesnt boot to BIOS unless i reseat the Ram, or remove the CMOS for 5 minutes or less then put it back, it would Boot to BIOS . Im able to restart the PC then able to go to BIOS again but whenever i shut it down then turn it on, it turns on for more than 10 seconds then enters a loop of turning on and off until i shut it down myself then reseat the ram, etc. There are certain times where the PC would show something on the screen, i would see a singular underscore, it would move downwards, freeze then my PC would turn off. My KB and Mouse' Leds would turn on. I just purchased a brand new Power Supply, installed it, no GPU, and HDD installed while i attempted to turn it on. The Power Supply does a single 1-time clicking noise when it turns on or off but i assume that's normal. Tried a different RAM stick and still faced the same problem. Tried a HDD with Win. 7 installed and it still didn't boot. Is it the motherboard? Tried the eraser method for Ram, and that liquid thing for the motherboard , still didn't work. The BIOS is at the latest version although i last updated it 2 years ago. Tried a new CMOS battery , still didnt work. At this point i assume its the Motherboard that i have to replace no? Should i attempt to Q Flash it then downgrade? Is it because there are some wires from the PSU that are not attached?
  13. Thanks guys, i think i'll be going with a Firecuda, and a SSD (WD Green). I did lower the cost of the PSU by changing my decision from an EVGA G2 650w to a Seasonic Focus+ 550FX which gave me a higher budget for storage, i realized i didnt need that much power. I'll be deciding whether i'd like to buy Headphones instead of an SSD, but i guess that's a decision i have to make by my own lol.
  14. Do you use it for games? If so how is it? Also how long have you been using it? Not available from where i can buy , but how long have you had it?
  15. Nope, my PSU and HDD broke down recently. I have a 4 year old system, i settled on an EVGA G2 650w as a PSU replacement and havent settled on Storage. I dont really mind the boot times as long as it doesnt take 3 or more minutes average. I would like to know what will benefit for games the most , and reliability. Edit ; I myself am siding on the HDD/SSD combo, although i do worry about the Barracudas reliability.
  16. Firecuda is the cheapest, while the WD Black comes next, then the Barracuda and SSD costs the most. I still dont know what to pick lol, i'm sure there's someone that can clarify so i can finally settle. No one has been replying tho which is kinda sad.
  17. Bump - still need opinions, and the poll is tied, still very unclear to me. Added a tl;dr, figured the thread was too long.
  18. Pretty much Black and Blue is what i prefer, but since the Blue only has the 7200 RPM in its 1 TB variant, and the 2 TB is 5400 RPM, and that i prefer 2 TB, i didnt add it in the options. Hence why its not in the Hard drives i'd like to compare.
  19. TL;DR - Cant seem to pin point which would be the best option, done some research about it. Really unlucky on Western Digital, 2 broken drives, never had a Seagate. Need help, budget of $130, live in the Philippines. Dont care about noise and warranty , more on performance and reliability. Also havent found an SSD. ( Link Below ) So im looking to replace my paper weight WD Blue 2tb 5400 RPM, with a much more reliable drive. I have been unlucky with Western Digital , with a 2 tb Green breaking down in 2.5 years and my 2tb Blue in 1.25 years. I dont really care for noise, what i really need is speed and reliability, or which will last the longest based on failure rates. Im going to give Seagate a try, although i have heard of their fail rates, but still put WD into consideration even if i had 2 of their drives fail. All of the drives put into conaideration are 2 TB. The Western Digital is the 2013 one, Seagate Firecuda Probably 2016, and same with Barracuda. Still havent chosen which SSD. I have done some searching and i have heard that the Seagate SSHD ( ST2000DX002 ) is really great, it comes close to an SSD on certain times and benefits the most when i play the same game, which i do. Also heard its just as fast as the Black and Barracuda except when the flash NAND comes in to play. However i do hear that whenever the SSHD is defective, it becomes incredibly slow. Also done some searching with the Black ( WD2003FZEX ) heard its better than a standard HDD, and will also benefit with loading times.i dont know how its dual processor benefits, and some said its noisy but i dont really care. I tried to compare it with the Firecuda and Barracuda but i cant seem to settle on one. I have heard that it fails by making a weird noise. I have put the Barracuda/SSD into consideration, the ST2000DM006 model feels like it will fail just the same, and the speed just the same. Although it does seem like the better option, but i have not settled on which SSD. The max capacity of an SSD that i will be able to purchase if i go with this option is 240 to 256 gb, or less. Warranty doesnt matter, because i dont live in the US, i live in the Philippines, and cant take advantage of it. I only have a year warranty regardless of any drive , i have a small budget of $130. http://dynaquestpc.com/product-category/components/harddisk-harddrive-storage-hdd-ssd-portable/harddisk-harddrive-storage-hdd-ssd-solid-state/?orderby=price This is the site where i can buy. My budget for an SSD is P4,000 ( $80 , Philippine Peso ) my overall budget is P7,250 ( $145 ) i have not chosen which SSD so you can suggest because im clueless on what to pick lol. Maybe you can also suggest a Hard Drive. Thanks.
  20. the WD Black is at least $15 more expensive than the Firecuda, should i get the Firecuda instead or is the extra $15 worth it? I would get the Black if it will last much longer than the Firecuda. ArmA 3 uses the same map over and over again but it depends, will the SSHD be useful if your playing the same game over and over again?
  21. Not from the US, if i was to get a 1 TB HDD for $35, i would receive a NAS drive or a 5400 RPM used-to-be WD Green Drive which is now Blue. I'm in the Philippines that's why i have very limited options. The SSD + HDD Combo would still be more rational, i know. But as i said things are almost twice as expensive here, So if i ever went with the Combo it will go over $125 which is more than $70.
  22. WD2003FZEX ( Western Digital, 2013 ) vs. ST2000DX002 ( Seagate , 2016) I am looking to replace my current hard drive as it is showing symptoms of breaking down. ( High response time, over a thousand MS. ) Please help me choose. I would very much prefer one that is faster. I play games like ArmA 3 which renders a lot and has a long loading screen with my current hard drive , I would get an SSD but currently i don't have the budget to do so, and these 2 are my only choices. Please do not tell me to go with an HDD + SSD combo or just an SSD, as i am not able to because of my budget, i would need to choose one that would last me long enough and anything that would be more powerful on the long run. Thanks.
  23. Ended up getting a Logitech G403 instead, still trying to get used to it's shape.
  24. Isn't the G502 similar to the G402 except the G502 has a better sensor, RGB and the weight thing? if that's the case i'd rather buy another G502. Why would you say to stay clear of Razer? i have done some searching on the Lancehead and i have seen minimal complaints about it. Thanks for the Info, although if i'm going with the G102 i'd rather go with the G Pro, they are pretty much the same except for the sensor and all that, i heard the G102 spins out?
  25. Title is the main question, although i'd like to sum it up. I have had 2 Logitech Mice, both served me well and both has served me more than 4 years combined, which is the Logitech G602 and the G502, i like their shape and size as it's really perfect for me as i have really big hands ( 7.8 inches length , 3.5 inch width NOT EXACT ) and i mostly have more of a claw but slight fingertip as a grip on my mouse, also both of them has really good quality , like even when i smash em nothing happens lol. I don't live in the United States and would like advice on which mouse to get, i have personally holded both the Logitech G403 and the Logitech G102 ( i assume it's also the same with the G Pro ) but the height of the G403 did slightly bother me as i holded it, it really felt too big and bulky height wise while the G102 was okay although didn't have much time to experience it. I spend most of my time playing FPS and i'm a competitive player, a mouse that doesn't spin out and isn't a laser would do me well, also one that fits my preferences which i am having trouble with, i am looking into buying another G502 as my old one is still functional and still using it but it's rubber is wearing out and the LEDs on the G logo is bugging out as it's colored green since it's not the Proteus Spectrum, i couldn't move on from a mouse i got so used to i suppose. I have looked at the Corsair Scimitar, which it's side buttons reminded me of the Logitech G602 which is really convenient but some say it isn't recommended with FPS as it's a Moba mouse and there was problems with the quality control which left me with the Razer Lancehead and the Deathadder Elite, i had my eye on the Deathadder as most say it's a really good FPS mouse but it didn't have on-board memory which made me move on to the Razer Lancehead, so far there's no problems in my research with the Lanchead, all i found is product design fault wherein the RMB would bump into something inside the switch which was a bugger, but it had all the Features i wanted, it was decently sized and had 4 extra mouse buttons. Corsair Glaive i have also looked into, but there's a lot of quality control problems when i searched about it which was also a product design error, Logitech G Pro would also be one of my choices, Asus ROG Gladius 2 also had some problems as they say in my research about quality control, Mice that i haven't looked at are the Razer Diamond Back and the Razer Naga Hex V2. All in all, only mouse i'm looking for is something similar to the G502, with convenient buttons and all that, but i'd really rather see some opinions about the experience with Naga Hex v2 or pretty much a mouse that i have previously stated. http://dynaquestpc.com/product-category/peripherals/gaming/mouse-keyboard-mechanical-optical-laser-gaming/page/4/?orderby=price-desc Here is the site i buy from, i have a budget of $80 or PHP 4,000
