Has anyone else found that July 2021 Android update absolutely ruined their phone? For some reason, after the update the USB-C headphones no longer work, and the charger that came with my phone doesn't work? Although, I have another USB-C charger from another device that does.

I have a question please I have the following PC: Ryzen 5 3600 (Wraith Prism cooler) B450 Steel Legend board 16gb RAM (2 x 8gb) 1TB Samsung 970 NVME 1TB HDD GTX 1050ti Corsair VS550w PSU 144hz 1440p monitor I dont really do any overclocking, aside from using MSI afterburner and having XMP enabled. . I'm looking to upgrade the GPU to something a bit more substantial for 144hz 1440p gaming but I'm trying to avoid changing the PSU (I've not had it that long). May I ask whats the highest I could go on the GPU without having the Fire Brigade on standby? Thanks all

Yeah my feeling is that the files are so small, that it doesnt hamper performance, and I save and load so infrequently, it doesn't really matter

Hi all, I'm a bit of a data nerd and on my PC I tend to use PowerBI and Excel a fair amount. PowerBI is a fairly large program, and takes a (while to open (at work, it's around 15 seconds, on my own computer about 4s). (At home) I have PowerBI and Excel installed on my Samsung 970 Evo NVME and the saved files stored on a mechanical HDD. My question is, am I leaving performance on the table? my theory is that the big large program sits on the NVME, and the small saved file (normally about 30kb - 200kb). I suppose I could keep them on the NVME too, but I like tokeep my "clutter" in one place, and that's on the HDD both drives are 1TB, the NVME is as stated above, the HDD is a WD green label 7200 thing. Just really interested in your thoughts?

First off, massive thank you to all those who answered my previous question on fan sizes. However, I have a further question (I'm fairly new to the world of RGB). So I have a ASRock B450 Steel Legend, and it comes with this software that I use to change the RGB on the board it'self (My wraith cooler uses different software) I have a screen shot below. Would buying something like the below fit directly onto the addressable pins without the requirement for an RGB controller? Am I being naive by thinking it'l plug in and go? Thanks guys

So I recently upgraded cases and now using Fractal Design Meshify. During the build I used an old 80mm fan for the rear exhaust. However its undersized and I want something with RGB that I cab change the colour on. Im sure that my motherboard (B450 Steel legend) has RGB pins that let's me change colour but what I'm really confused on is the size, the screws seem to be 100mm apart? I've only ever seen/noticed fans that are 80,120,140mm. Am I missing somthing? Also, what would you recommend for me to use? The rest of my build is below Apologies for some of my terminology, I'm still new to the world of RGB

Welll. I took the NVME out, put it into another slot (Bios diddnt even see it this time). So put it back in the original slot. It did a large update and now works. Can't help but think "bomb has been planted"

Yeah I have a second m.2 slot actully. I'll try that. I have a spare HDD that I just managed to boot from, so its Deffo somthing to do with that. Trying to avoid a reinstall if I can

Hi guys. Does anyone know why I'm getting this at startup? I can't seem to get into windows. It happened the weekend a few times. A few hours later it worked, it worked on Sunday and Monday, and today I am getting this again I've removed any other drives and am booting off my NVME

So ive had a couple of PCs before (maybe 20+years ago) just been using laptops ever since. This is the 1st pc I've ever built and it was a bit of a hobby of mine during lockdown to hunt for good prices and build it slowly. Bought most things new at regular price (unless stated) I'm on a fairly strict budget and my aim is to play games at 1080p 60hz as well as practicing some powerbi/ office and films music etc and wanting a fairly quick system. Specs are: - R5 3600 (figured best price vs performance bought used but unopened for £150) - Wraith prism cooler (bought used for £20, was only used for 1 week) - B450 steel Legend motherboard 1050ti (had leftover from a prebuilt) 2x8gb (16gb in total) DRR4 3000Mhz (gammix d10 and I have 2 empty slots still, bought one of them new, the other used for £20 and the sticks match) - Evo970 NVME 1tb (smashed out a bit on that admittedly but used unopened £140) - 1TB HDD (just cheap storage) - Fracral meshify case (bought used for £45) - Corsair 550w PSU May I ask your thoughts? It seems to do what I want it to. I'll upgeade the GPU one day, but currently it plays everything I ask it to at 60hz 1080p at max settings except resident evil where I'm at mid to max settings.

Can a DVI do that, does it introduce input lag for my USB devices?

Hi all. Am I being ridiculous? I'm currently working from home, and have my work computer (on the left), my home computer is on the right and as I use it almost daily. To use a different one, I have to switch the USB and one Display port cable from the back and switch it with the other. My work computer, I dont care about. Ill happily drag and smash that about all day. My computer is a little more important to me. Its a bit of a faff to pull it out gently, and the rubber feet grip the floor quite well. I'm considering making a trolley for it to sit on. Effectively 4 wheels on a board to it slides back and forth. Is that a stupid thing to do, anyone done similar?
