  1. The device has 1 input and 2 output and supports DisplayPort. The device can be set in 'splitter mode' and it says in description that 'Half of video stream on each port'. What does these two mean ? As in, lets say 4k video stream is input to the device and half of video stream on each port means in this context, as output would be two streams of 2k resolution each ? Edit : Or is it like the half of the display itself like bottom and top part of the display ( or left and right) ?
  2. In the DisplayPort Wikipedia page, in advantages section it is stated that "Can drive display panels directly, eliminating scaling and control circuits and allowing for cheaper and slimmer displays". In the DisplayPort 1.2 specification, it is stated in external connection objectives that " Support external display configurations that do not include scaling, a discrete display controller, or on screen display (OSD) functions, enabling low cost, digital monitors. " Does this mean DisplayPort will upscale or downscale according to display panel connected without a scaling unit in between ? DP-1.2.pdf
  3. The requirement is a HDMI to USB frame grabber internal card or a DisplayPort to USB frame grabber internal. So far I have found DP/HDMI to PCIe frame grabber internal cards. http://www.unigraf-china.cn/en/products/dp-compliance-test-hardware/ufg-04-dp/ https://www.unigraf.fi/products/frame-grabbers/ufg-07-hsdp https://www.epiphan.com/products/dvi2pcie-duo/ Or is there a converter for sending the PCIe data from these cards across a USB port. In other words,is there a PCIe to USB converter ?
