  1. Thanks for the late reply; I had already figured it out but it was indeed the PSU. I flipped a switch because it wasn't booting at all (turns out the outlet I was using didn't work) and never flipped it back.
  2. I recently bought a new PC for my friend. After building it, I keep getting stuck on installing windows. The first time I tried to install windows, it let me go through all the steps to install up until the point where it is "getting the files ready for installation." At 0%, the computer shuts off (I assume crashes) and gets stuck in a restart loop. The only boot option is the USB that I plugged in, and I can't boot from the drive installed in the computer. Now I can only get to that screen by using safe mode installation, and the same happens. Otherwise it gets stuck in the boot loop. I have tried: Clearing the SSD Reinstalling the windows setup disconnecting the HD audio cable (idk) Shutting entirely down, wiping both the drive and the USB, and trying again Any ideas?
  3. not using razer EDIT: turns out it was the radeon overlay that was bugged and for some reason not working right. I fixed it.
  4. AMD is good right now, but if you have the patience to wait for 4th gen this summer/fall, it will be worth it. For now though, I would get a 3700x and an MSI Gaming pro carbon. May be a bit over budget but I promise, its well worth it.
  5. aint there I'm confused too lmao this hasn't happened before
  6. I'd get the 5700 xt instead of the 2070 super unless you REALLY care about ray-tracing. You'll save ~100 dollars for similar or better performance. Also I would recommend the hp ex920. its cheap but fast and definitely worth it.
  7. Specs anyway: R5 2600 5700 xt xfx THICC II 2x8gb ram @ 2666 Pixio PX329 monitor @ 165hz
  8. no i dont i dont think it has to do with my monitor bc it shows up with snipping tool.
  9. Not sure what else to say. it shows up on screenshots so i think it has to do with windows. I've tried just about everything, anyone know what is going on?
  10. Turns out reinstalling GPU tweak once didnt work but deinstalling the fresh install and reinstalling it again did work ? Sorry for the trouble
  11. monitor isnt compatible. I just installed the drivers, they dont help.
  12. yes except for the game ready drivers released today. Ive been having this issue since before that so thats not the issue.
  13. Will edit main post For now: Ryzen 5 2600 @3.85ghz GTX 1660 ti HP ex920 ssd Asus prime b450-plus motherboard 2x8g adata 2733mhz ram Currently have no gpu tweaking software downloaded.
  14. No matter what I have tried, my FPS keeps getting limited to around 60 on everything. Userbenchmark's tool is getting capped, Furmark is getting capped, etc. I have: turned off vsync globally uninstalled: RVSS ASUS GPU TWEAK MSI AFTURBURNER Xbox game bar What could be causing this issue?
