  1. Sorry for confusion. I have replaced my old fans with artic fans which i have returned due to higher temps . So my old fans did better than the new artic fans . Now I am looking for fans for airflow as I don't use radiators.
  2. Sry I don't understand. So you saying my 2top fans where the issue? Do you know some good airflow fans ? I will buy a few and test to see what's best placement for my case. My concern is more towards the gpu as bad airflow makes a big difference. And I don't want custom loop. Too much risk involved. And the kraken g12 with aio cooler is not an option again as you cannot mount backplate back and most of the gpu is uncovered .
  3. Had 5 artic fans presure optimised. 2x140mm as intake front, 2x120mm exhaust top and 1x120mm exhaust back. Probably the 2top fans took the fresh air away from the front intake without getting to the gpu and cpu. Atm i have various old fans with the front panel off. 3intake 120mm, 1top 120mm exhaust and 1 back 120mm exhaust. But really need replacing.
  4. I have very old fans gathered from previous cpu heatsink coolers but since i have power hungry gpu and cpu need some good fans to circulate the air in my case. Atm i have front panel off to keep everything at normal temps. And to change my pc case for a better airflow one is not an option because I like the one i have.
  5. Hi, I thought Noctua NF-A12x25 has the best CMF for back exhaust. Till recently I had no idea about air pressure optimised and airflow fans . They where all the same for me till I had to return 5 fans (presure optimised) bought a week ago because my temps went up 10c after installing them.
  6. Hi, I am about to order 4 noctua NF-A14 140mm fans and one Noctua NF-A12x25 for my Corsair 275r case. I have seen lots of opinions about airflow (positive, negative, etc.:) but all of them are more focused with AIO and radiators. My plan is to add 2X140mm intake front case 2x140mm exhaust top case 1x120mm exhaust top back case cooler is noctua Nh-d15 with another 2x140mm fans that blow air towards the back of the case. is it worth adding 2x140mm at the top of the case ?will these fans take the air from the front intake away from the cooler ? thank you
  7. Hi, me again i had my pc off in the Christmas holidays, today when I switched on I had no display. Pc boot in windows with no display att all from the moment i press the power button . Not even in bios . Fans are spinning to maximum on the gpu. But a little red led is on above vga on my motherboard and according to the manual (graphics card not working correctly) things i have tried. Resset bios , using the 2nd bios, changed power cables, moved gpu to the next pci slot, ddu drivers. took gpu out and tested onboard video and my pc runs fine. Sadly I don't have another pc to test the gpu so I guess its RMA time.
  8. Thank you. Will check your tier list for a new one.
  9. Hi. Guys I have upgraded my pc: motherboard cpu and gpu but kept the old PSU bought in 2016. Corsair CP-9020103-UK CX Series CX650M ATX/EPS Semi-Modular 80 Plus Bronze 650 W Power Supply Unit. i have :I9 9900ks oc at 5.Ghz 1.26Vcore 1 Evga 2080ti xc ultra Aours master motherboard 1 HDD baracuda 1 SDD and 1 M.2 , 3 intake fans 3 exhaust and 2 fans on noctua d15. That's all i have in my pc case to drain power. I didn't notice any problems with the current PSU but kept seeing discussions on the web that for the specs I have it need a better PSU for better results. Is that right ? Or not to bother and keep the current psu?
  10. I have found the issue. Noctua is perfect . Aorus master bios was pushing vcore as default to even 1.6V+ . Made some changes in Bios and 1.26V seems stable at 5Ghz. My temps dropped to mid 70 on aida full stress. I am happy with it as long as its stable at that voltage. Thanks for your time guys.
  11. Ok, so I have made some changes for the airflow in the case and my CPU when gaming is at 65 -70°C and stress test for 15 min in realbench around 85-98°C . Is that good enough for Noctua ?
  12. Hi guys, just finished my build and went after linus tips. Got a noctua d15 on this beast and to say I am a bit disappointed on the results cooling my CPU. CPU stays on 5Ghz on stock. (Only changed the memory profile on XMP) no other changes in bios and my temps while gaming are above 70°C with spikes to 80+. Stress test in realbench cpu throttle in couple minutes. I have checked the mounting, repaste again no better results. Is there something I have to change in bios for better results? I think the cpu voltage is on auto so it goes from 1.25 to 1.45 . I am not a guru in overclock that's why i chose the KS. Any help very appreciated. Thanks PS: Linustechtips not long found your channel but you are the best !
