  1. yup thats my thoughts exactly. also considering RAM prices are supposedly gonna risse in 2020 i think i might go for it.
  2. 3200 MHz. But it wouldnt be a speed increase. just switching it for the RGB (looks). Current G Skill Ripjaws also run at 3200 MHz XMP
  3. Title pretty much sums it up. I stumbled upon a great deal for the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200 MHz 2x8GB Ram Kit for 70 Euros each. So in total 140 Euros for 4 kits and 32 GB of Ram. Might as well invest in it with prices this low? Im only gaming, no video editing so i know its overkill but to future proof myself i thought it might actually be a good investement? What do you guys think?
  4. Attached is a picture of my lg27 gl83 ab testing Backlight bleeding. Since it's an ips display it's not a rarity I know that but did I get a very bad sample? The phone picture makes it look worse as it is but the main problem is the bottom left corner. It's definitely noticeable when gaming in dark scenes (Witcher 3 for example) My question is should I just live with it or is this a case of bad bleed? If it is I will replace it Thanks for your help!
  5. I actually have the same problem with the 1660 ti gaming x now that you mention it in this thread. It would to exactly that if I just let it work in its factory fan settings. I simply created a custom fancurve with msi afterburner so they only start spinning when the gpu hits 50 or 60 degrees. It worked for me at least. No idea why it does it though
  6. This error messsage occurs then launching the WItcher 3 script merger or the nvicia inspector. Already tried reapaiting the net framework and completely reset my OS and my drives..... this keeps happening. On another note: the cumulative update KB4530684 cannot be installed no matter what i try. I got Windows version 1909 installed (x64) Error Code 0x800f081f Already trief everything i could find. As i said i even reset my whole system but it keeps happening.. Witcher 3 Script merger then i try to open a file: Informationen über das Aufrufen von JIT-Debuggen anstelle dieses Dialogfelds finden Sie am Ende dieser Meldung. ************** Ausnahmetext ************** System.NullReferenceException: Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt. bei WitcherScriptMerger.Forms.MainForm.menuOpen_DropDownOpening(Object sender, EventArgs e) bei System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDownItem.OnDropDownShow(EventArgs e) bei System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripMenuItem.OnDropDownShow(EventArgs e) bei System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripDropDownItem.ShowDropDownInternal() bei System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripMenuItem.OnMenuAutoExpand() bei System.Windows.Forms.MenuTimer.OnTick(Object sender, EventArgs e) bei System.Windows.Forms.Timer.OnTick(EventArgs e) bei System.Windows.Forms.Timer.TimerNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) bei System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) Nvidia Inspector: ************** Ausnahmetext ************** System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Der Wert 106 ist für Value ungültig. 7. Is the difference the slightly higher OC with 1845 MHz and rgb? Price difference is only 7 euros so might aswell go with the gaming oc?
  8. Ah nice thanks. Yeah already found a couple builds on pcpartpicker. Should be fine ?
  9. Just wondering if anyone had that or a comparable setup in the meshify c case. It says it has 315 mm gpu clearance. Looking at the 2070 super length with 280.35 mm and the h115i radiator depth of 29mm with the fans being 25mm..... It doesn't fit. Is there any wiggle room?
  10. Thanks Luna. That calms my mind I will go ahead and try it. I can still always upgrade if I feel like it's needed
  11. I7 9700 runs at 4.9 right now.. With vcore at 1.29v. It consumes max 180w when I stress test it. So I think I'm fine. I'm only Gaming and I'm not planning on overclocking the rtx further
  12. Title pretty much says it. Additionally there's a corsair h115i pro aio with 2 top fans and 1 rear fan. Also 2 ssds (Samsung Evo 500gb and qva 1 tb) I currently run a 1660 ti just wondering if I need to upgrade the psu?
  13. I just loosely tightend the screws so it's enough to keep the cooler in place. It seemed there was even a little space left. hard to see though. I don't hear any vibration or anything suspicious after couple of hours of use. I might loosen it a bit tomorrow or see if a piece of paper can fit under it.. Only way I can see if it's actually touches the vrms
  14. - B450 Aorus elite MB - Ryzen 5 2600x - Alpenföhn Brocken Eco Just installed the cpu cooler on the motherboard and the top bracket of the cpu cooler is "sitting" on top of the vrams. It doesn't apply any sort of pressure AFAIK. The cpu cooler was mounted with care. Temps after some stress testing seem fine. No problems so far I assumed it actually kinda works as a heat sink for the vrms just wanted to make sure it's not a bad idead.. Anyone else encountered this situation before?
  15. So I guess my pc just falls apart bit by bit... Gonna trouble shoot the error. No idea what else could be failing now
  16. another kind if shutdown occured without the bsod.. seems like something different caused the error this time.... not sure if it was cpu related. i attached the dmp file. is it possible that my 550w staright power 11 psu isnt enough to keep up with high usage spikes with my 2060 super and the i7 8700k on 1,25v?.. it shouldnt right? WinRAR-ZIP-Archiv (neu).zip
  17. I was able to game and use my pc for several hours now without it crashing using 1.3v. I'm still gonna use the warranty and send in to Intel. Running it with high fan usage and higher temps is not what I want. At least I know if Intel refuses to replace it
  18. ok so its decided. i will take advantage of the intel warranty and hoepfully ill get a new cpu
  19. i had two new crashes with the new bioss installed and 1,25v with turbo on. could you maybe take a look at them and see if they tell us something? if its still basically the hardware i will return it to intel dmp.zip
  20. im pretty much set on auto vor vcore voltage and load lone calibration. so no idea why it would run lower voltages. and why 4,7 ghz? i just updated my bios and so far everything seems to be running just fine. i will keep testing with the newly istalled bios until it crashed then go along your tips with the voltage. i also got the intel warranty program set up by the seller so if i just want to replace it i can do that next week when he sends me the info. do you have an idea why the strange boot up behaviour occurs? this is a current hwinfo screenshot while downloading shit and being active on chrome
  21. another issue i just noticed now is the boot up process. sometimes (not everytime) the pc starts boot up, the fans spin at maximum rpm then he immediately shuts down again and boots up again but this time it works fine. at rar occasions he boots and restarts twice. it did that at the very beginning when i built it a bout a year ago but then it stopped. now it happened a couple of times again. thre red leds on the bottom right of the mb light ub when startup, which is how its ssupposed to be but sometimes it keeps flashing between cpu and dram a couple of times before it goes to vga dn the boot.i tried booting with one of each ram sticks but that doesnt prevent it from happening sometimes. could it mean my psu is not powerful enough?
  22. The seller will start the reclamation process so hopefully I will get a replacement from. I don't think I'm gonna chance voltages again. I had crashes with all setups
