I have a few questions: is this a good price? would this run FreeNAS ok? how can I configure this machine since it does't have a display output? do any of you forsee any potential issues with this box?

I came across one of thirty "Team Empire Edition" street triples yesterday at a dealer. I initially thought it was someone's stunt bike that they were trying to trade in but apparently on an annual basis icon sponsors a bike build by this team and "make" them in limited quantities. Very true. As much as I want to try balms and such I'm too scared to do so. I tried an alcohol-based after shave and burned my skin so bad I felt it for hours after shaving and had significant dryness and irritation post shave. I was considering some proraso branded aloe stuff as I hear good things about it but idk.

I must say too that if you have acne or maybe just small breakouts here and there you can smoothly and safely glide over pimples without causing excess scarring. I'm living with the damage and scarring effects of my cartridge razor on the right side of my chin. I wish I knew the truth sooner. Oh and another pro tip for anyone reading this: I don't use after shave. I run cold water over my face to close the pores and apply virgin coconut oil to moisturize afterwards.

I have to agree with this despite Linus making a living off of his sponsorships. I did what was referenced above and bought a Merkur 34C short handled safety razor and am currently sampling the best blades for my skin. I cringe every time I think about standard cartridge razors. I always cut open my skin with those things. Since using a safety razor I have far less irritation and enjoy shaving now. 2-3 passes depending on scruff gets me the closest shave of my life. It has a learning curve but I'm about 6 months in since my switch and couldn't be happier. That reminds me. I need to order some more Taylor of old bond street (or whatever it's called) cream again.

I know they were notorious for being portable ovens years ago but Acer makes nice stuff nowadays. Prior to it getting stolen I assisted my sister in finding a $800 laptop that had a Sandy i5 in it and excellent battery life. No heat of performance issues to speak of.

Quite honestly I'd love my Nexus with a better battery and camera. It's plenty fast enough but a performance bump wouldn't hurt either. Oh and put it in the beautiful red [emoji7]

I can get behind the "Netflix for games idea" but I just don't see Sony doing it any time soon. In its current form PS+ isn't attractive price wise but I like the idea so far.

The person I'm doing it for wants it to be managed exclusively by us. I think I'll create a web server running apache and use VLC to stream. Does anyone know if this is doable? It sounds doable from what I see on the VLC website.

***MODS PLEASE MOVE ACCORDINGLY IF THIS IS NOT THE APPROPRIATE SECTION*** With that disclaimer out of the way I enlist the help of you guys to see if you have any suggestions. I have been tasked with setting up a private video streaming server. This server will broadcast a 720p live stream (I'd like to leave room for future proofing to 1080p if possible) to hypothetically no more than 50 clients at a time. Access must be delegated with some form of an authentication measure. Think of something along the lines of a token, password, etc. What hardware and software is available for me to achieve this? Any pro tips from anyone that has set up something similar before? Are there any existing services available that you have used that won't require a server at all?

Sounds like a nice bike. It's an i4 so it'll sound really quiet until you put a pipe on it and that also explains it not being so friendly in speeds under 20MPH. 600cc i4s are a pain to ride in traffic because as soon as you get it in the power band to get it rolling you'll have to brake again. Quite the exercise for your right wrist.

I'm not saying FZ09s or the speed triple isn't a hoot to ride because I always hear just the opposite. They're just not balanced bikes in every way if you know what I mean. Speed triple is a torque monster but comes in at a hefty 470lbs. A FZ09 is a light torque monster with sub par bits that need more refinement. Striple 675 does pretty much everything in its class right. I know... I sound crazy and a bit of a fanboy but you won't understand until you ride one. Then it just clicks.

Everything you said is wrong lol no offense. Striple feels glorious exactly within that range from 3500-9K RPMs. Not much of a top end after first gear but it's still there. First gear is extremely tall and actually fantastic for cruising in traffic. I remember all the shifting I had to do on my FZ6R in traffic and this is nothing compared to that. You'll see what I mean when you test ride it. Best usable urban naked out there IMO with a FZ07 being tied. Source: I'm a striple owner.
