Hey guys, looking for some advice on this issue.
My friend spilled tea onto his Macbook A2141 while it was on, it immediately shut off, it got cleaned thoroughly of any tea remnants and now fully works except the battery, mainly the charging part. The Macbook detects the battery but doesnt charge it, nor takes any power from it, also shows service recommended. There are no signs of corrosion, he took the laptop fully apart, mainboard out and inspected, any traces of the tea were cleaned with isopropyl alcohol.
We even looked at schematics to see for potential problems, but havent actually checked any of the resistors if theyre showing proper voltages.
What could be the culprit? Any of the resistors at PPDCIN_G3H_CHGR? No idea where to start honestly.
Any help would be much appreciated!
