  1. Yeah I have tried capping it at 144, and it could just be dodgy, I have the same issue that you have on cod aswell I have uninstalled all drivere and reinstalled then using DDU In the past, thanks for your input and I will attempt your method nock if it gets worse I just dont wanna completely fuck up my pc
  2. So I have been encountering some problems in some games complete specs from speccy:Operating System Windows 10 Pro 64-bitCPU Intel Core i5 9600kf @ 3.7GHz 63 °C Kaby LakeRAM 16.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1333MHz (18-18-18-44)Motherboard ASRock B365M Pro4 (CPUSocket) 42 °CGraphics Acer KG241 P (1920x1080@144Hz) HDTV (1360x768@60Hz) 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER (MSI) 62 °CStorage 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-08WN4A0 (SATA ) 29 °C 953GB Patriot P200 1TB (SATA (SSD)) 40 °c I orginally thought my problem was becuase of high cpu usage so I swapped my i5 9400f for the 9600kf, this improved the usage but Iam still encountering the problems in game. For instance on rocket league I could have my fps capped at 200 and it will usually stay at that but every now and again it will drop to lke 180 which i shouldn't even be able to see becuase of my monitor is only 144hz but it will stutter and lag a little bit even though my ping is on 25, then it will go back up and be alright, it does this at any frame rate cap. Addtitonly minecraft for windows 10 will lag and drop fps like crazy in the menus and when in my inventory but in game It will run completely fine, minecraft for java will run fine, but when corsair ICUE is installed I cant even move my mouse without it lagging and dropping frames like crazy so that is currently uninstalled aswell. I know that was a big read but I've only just made this pc and I've spent a lot of money on it to play and I would love it to run smoothly, all help and feedback would be very appreciated, thankyou.
  3. Mine will be at 100% no matter the game and this guy is at 1440p when im only at 1080 or does that not effect it?
  4. Damn, i should of gone ryzen aha its my first ever build and PC and the 9400f had great reviews, the problems are getting that bad the ICUE isnt even working properly though
  5. When im in game the New Cod can use as much as 90%
  6. Im also using an extention cable and that should be fine tbh just try what i said i havent had the problem since
  7. I have recently built the PC and i chose a I5 9400f as my proccesser and it always runs at a very high usage and when im playing games it is always 100% no matter what the game, is this a software issue or should i send my CPU back? Here are my complete specs from speccy: Operating System Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU Intel Core i5 @ 2.90GHz 63 °C Coffee Lake 14nm Technology RAM 16.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1333MHz (18-18-18-44) Motherboard ASRock B365M Pro4 (CPUSocket) 42 °C Graphics Acer KG241 P (1920x1080@144Hz) HDTV (1360x768@60Hz) 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER (MSI) 62 °C Storage 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-08WN4A0 (SATA ) 29 °C 953GB Patriot P200 1TB (SATA (SSD)) 40 °C please let me know if you have anymore questions and any help would be greatly appreciated thankyou.
  8. Hey i had this problem, no idea what was causing it when i played games it just randomly restarted, turned out to be the big 24pin power cable for the motherboard not in properly, I advise you unplug it and plug it back in as hard as you can making sure it is properly and securely in place. hope this helps
  9. I am fairly new to pcs and this is the first one i have ever built without any help other than youtube videos i was amazed to see it turn on straight away and began to run windows. I have set it all up and it is working fine other than in rocket league when i hit the ball i get rapid fps dips that are notice able and after a while of gaming my pc shuts itself off waits about about 30 seconds and restarts again. I have no clue what could be causing it however i dont think its overheating as when it reboots i check corsair i CUE to check the temps of the cpu motherboard etc and there all around 50-65 degrees. my specs are Operating System Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU Intel Core i5 @ 2.90GHz 30 °C Coffee Lake 14nm Technology RAM 16.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1333MHz (18-18-18-44) Motherboard ASRock B365M Pro4 (CPUSocket) 30 °C Graphics Acer KG241 P (1920x1080@144Hz) HDTV (1360x768@60Hz) 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER (MSI) 36 °C Storage 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-08WN4A0 (SATA ) 27 °C 953GB Patriot P200 1TB (SATA (SSD)) 40 °C My power supply is a corsair 550w 80 plus gold certified (Specs are shown from the app speccy) I also have 3000mhz ram and my motherboard can run up to 2666mhz so i dont know why it isnt running at that. Any help would be really aprecaited and if anymore information is needed pop a question and ill try come back with an answer. Thanks.

  11. Go with an NZXT case either the h710 or h510 they are great streamline cases and easy to build in, be careful on the prices though as they can be expensive i managed to pick up a h510 for around £50 for my first build and it was great, good luck building!
