  1. My Samsung monitor has this strange "stain", it's like some pixels are stuck in a rather strange pattern. It's a white outline with grey / black / pinkish pixels in the center. Does anyone know what this is? What's the solution? Please be helpful and avoid "just buy a new monitor kek" comments
  2. True. I will get 3 more 8GB ram sticks, when God allows.
  3. Thank you, yes I was correct. I verified myself with the manual. It doesn't have to be Japanese or French btw. One of the others is also the full manual in english. It's just the silly naming.
  4. I could try that, and I have thought of trying that but I would prefer to be sure first.
  5. In my experience, having most of my forum activity based around Linux I have to disagree. I would say largely people are uninterested in the purpose or application of your request as long as it doesn't affect the main issue directly or is not clearly harmful to anyone, even security related issues are given the benefit of the doubt when the possibility exists that the OP wants bypass security measures / hacking, everyone minds their own business and just want to make everything possible in whatever environment you're running with the tools available and are ready to educate and help others. Without sticking their noses in other ppl's business. This is the opposite, everyone wants to be in my stuff, neglect help and outright accuse me of engaging in malicious activity. My conclusion is harsh, yes, but it's also true. I still give the benefit of the doubt to this forum to some extent, but, what are the chances that the only few people that replied to my post are exactly the assholes?. Literally 1 in thousands. I will complement my conclusion with two words so the reader can better understand my qualification: dog shiet. GG.
  6. I have a ASUS Q87M-E Motherboard. Lately I've been having some "ran out of memory" errors. So I wonder if I arranged my RAM wrong. I have 1x8GB DDR3 1600mhz and 2x4GB DDR3 1333mhz sticks. I configured the BIOS to make all sticks run at 1333mhz and the timing is the same for all. The slots are in this order (as shown in the image): Black-Yellow-Black-Yellow And this is how I put mu ram: 8gb-none-4gb-4gb There is one yellow slot empty. The motherboard has the slots labelled in this order: DIMM A1 DIMM A2 DIMM B1 DIMM B2 I assumed that A & B are the two channels , hence why I put the 2x4GB in B1 and B2 respectively.
  7. It's not for cheating on an MMO. It's so I can play Dark Souls while I have the repetitive parts of my work being done in the background. It is mostly transferring and processing multiple files from one program to another. I tried doing this on a VM and it was a disaster, nothing worked. After further reseach the programs in question represent too much of a load for the VMs since it puts stress on my gpu so it can't be done. I don't think I need to describe in detail my daily activities, I don't like doing that and I think it is already too much for me sharing that I want to play Dark Souls instead of doing my work manually. Like, how much in detail does one have to go here to ask for help? besides I don't like the general attitude. F all I'm out. For anyone in the future that searches this in this unfriendly unhelpful forum, the program is SoftXpand. I can achieve what I wanted with that program, Goodbye.
  8. Does anyone know of a program that would let me divide my computer into 2 environments simultaneously. So I can let a bot that controls my mouse and keyboard on "one insntace" doing pre programmed tasks. While I can still do other tasks on the other environment. I need it to be a program (not a virtual machine). Some of the tasks that I need to perform with my bot are not available or can't be completed on a virtual machine.
  9. Going for the guaranteed solution. Weird that someone with an opinion on this has never heard of virustotal or immunet.
  10. 10 anti-viruses detect it as malware, check the virustotal report.
  11. I accidentally downloaded a Virus when trying to install a program, after executing the file I was curious that it did nothing so I just put it on virustotal and it says it has viruses. Here's the report from Virustotal: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/bd39b2333fc1bb62342dff984a5927761ef3e43133e9f0940066da5bdee85df9/behavior It says it deletes some Registry entries and sets some new ones. It also dropped something on my temp folder, I deleted it. Can I undo this damage? My antivirus [Immunet] is not detecting anything and doesn't recognize the .exe as a virus, so it's doing nothing for me on this particular instance.
  12. @TofuHaroto @mariushm @BobVonBob for the capstone 650m nothing is labelled on the PSU's end. All the connectors are the same and all sockets are the same so everything fits everywhere. Sorry for the bad quality I'm not used to rely on my phone.
