  1. So I have a Ryzen 3800x and I'm looking at either a Aorus X570 AORUS ELITE or ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus Motherboards. I've been offered a set of 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro - cmw32gx4m2c3200c16 for £100 unopened which sound great but doesn't seem to be on the compatibility lists for either board. Anyone know if it will work for sure?
  2. I'm a long time lurker but new poster. I'm following a strange upgrade path, I only got my latest computer parts 6 months ago but in a strange series of events I find myself with the funds to upgrade to something a fair bit better, I can also sell several of my more expensive components to my brother in law for cost price if I do the build for him and give him support. I'm selling my CPU, GPU and Graphics Card so I'm upgrading those. Generally I keep computers for about 5 to 7 years, I play games but only really Minecraft, civ and No Man's Sky and those sort so I'm not in need of raw gaming power but I do intend to Stream and I do Video and Photo Editing for work and this leaves me with a few questions. The first is RAM and if you only answer one question, please make it this one, I have a 2 x 8GB CL15 3000MHz in my current system that but I'm moving to Ryzen and have already purchased a 3800x (I got a really good deal at a local hardware reseller via a friend this weekend), knowing that Ryzen needs the fastest memory can I get away with buying a 2nd set of the exact same memory and installing 32Gb of 3000MHz? Would I notice the difference, because my other option is probably just to buy 16Gb of 3600MHz but obviously I then have half the RAM Next is motherboard, Is there any advantage to X570 over B450 other than Gen 4 PCIe? I will be using a gen3 NVMe SSD in it for now and can't see me needing to upgrade to a Gen 4 SSD in the lifetime of the computer and frankly I'm a little wary of a board with an integrated fan and if I go B450 I can get a really nice board rather than a low to mid range X570. Feel free to suggest the boards you love! I'm thinking of getting a 2070 Super, but for 1080p vid editing and streaming, am I aiming too high? Finally, Air vs AIO Cooling, I simply can't seem to make up my mind on this one, I've never done any water cooling, honestly I sort of fancy doing it just because, but I'm also aware I can get a really nice high grade air cooler for the money of a mid range AIO. What would you do? Thank you so very much for any and all advice! I know you're probably fed up of these sort of questions but I honestly would just like some advice from a place I trust.
