  1. It seems to be fine, i tested a bit more and while testing i turned subwoofer all the way down so i can hear only satellite speakers and then turned satellite speakers up really loud and there is absolutley no hissing or crackling coming form the speaker that fell so everything is probably fine and i was probably panicking for nothing Thanks for helping me and answering my questions Now its probably time to install all speakers somewhere safe so i dont knock over anything in the future but its kinda hard setting up surround speakers for pc My pc is in a corner and front left and right speakers are next to my monitors and center speaker is under monitor and subwoofer is under the table and i dont really know where to best put rear speakers My only option to get proper speaker positioning would be to put them on stands behind my chair but that would again risk knocking them over eventually...
  2. Fall was about 60cm, it was standing on a speaker stand that i usually use for my bookshelfs (it wasnt screwed in to the stand) and i accidentaly knocked it over and it fell to the floor My biggest fear is that magnet maybe just shifted slightly and that it could make some barley noticable difference so i wanted t know if that difference would be obvious and easly noticable, i know cracking or chipping is unlikley but i also know that it is possible for magnet to shif slightly if its just glued to the rest of the speaker I will make sure to check once more for any hissing or crackling as soon as possible (im still moving some stuff around and rearanging my room so everything is unolugged right now and i might be away from home next few days so i will check sound again the first chance i get)
  3. Hello, i have recently got logitech z906 5.1 speakers for my new PC and few weeks later as i was moving stuff around i temporarly set rear speakers on bookshelf speaker stands that are little bit shorter than avrage PC desk and while i was moving some stuff i accidentally pushed one rear satellite speaker off the stand and it fell on the floor, only visible damage is small scrach on THX logo one one scrach on the scew (talking about this screw here) because there was something small metal on the floor where it fell on carpet. Now im afraid that because of that fall magnet might have some cracks or might partially detached or slightly shifted, so far i havent noticed anything unusual or any noticalbe change in audio quality so my question is, if magnet shifted even slightly from fall would the difference be noticable and is there any way to confirm if magnet shifted, cracked or detached partially without opening it up, would it change the sound enough to confirm if its damaged? I know that probably nothing happened since i didnt notice any distortion or noticable difference (my hearing isnt perfect but i dont notice any difference so far) but my OCD is killing me and i really need to know if magnet shifting even slightly would make a noticable difference, im afraid that maybe it made some difference but not enough for me to notice and now my OCD is killing me, if i cant find out for sure if there is any damage done i will probably end up just buying new set just to get rid of frustration that my OCD is causing me now :(
