  1. Really? I've been buying Asus products for years and I've never had a problem. Also that one isn't on the Gsync certified list.
  2. https://www.newegg.com/black-asus-tuf-gaming-vg259q-90lm0530-b013b0-25/p/N82E16824281008?Description=ASUS TUF Gaming&cm_re=ASUS_TUF_Gaming-_-24-281-008-_-Product It's Gsync compatible, 144hz, IPS, a little bit bigger than my current monitor and my specs should run games on it perfectly as opposed to the 1440p one where I think I'd struggle. For reference, My specs: GTX 1070, R5 3600, 16gb ram. Current Monitor-https://www.newegg.com/asus-vc239h-23-full-hd/p/N82E16824236583?Item=N82E16824236583 Really leaning towards it now but what do you think?
  3. https://www.amazon.com/Acer-VG271UP-FreeSync-2560x1440-Widescreen/dp/B07NFK9XST It's not listed on the Nvidia site but I've seen reviews on reddit that says it does work with Gsync. What would happen if I tried to use it? Thanks.
  4. Oh wait, that monitor isn't listed in the gsync compatible list. Do you know if it works?
  5. Is there a difference between gsync and freesync? I have an nvidia gpu.
  6. Hi I'm looking for a good 1440p 144hz monitor with gsync. I'd also prefer black and frame-less with a VA or IPS panel if possible. budget is like probably $400 or so. Thanks
  7. Can I run that? I mean I guess I could buy whatever is the next series of graphics cards when they come out. But won't games be all stuttery and not smooth if it's trying to jump between 60fps and 144fps?
  8. Hey guys I'm looking for a monitor upgrade. My specs: GTX 1070, Ryzen 5 3600, 16gb 3200mhz ram. Right now I have a cheap 1080p 60hz monitor so I want to upgrade. I'm thinking I can either do 1080p 144hz or 1440p 60hz. I don't know which will be better for me. I heard that larger screens at 1080p look blurry so that kinda worries me because I'd like a 27in screen. 144hz also looks really good though. Money isn't really an issue, as long as it's under like $500. I play WoW, some singleplayer games and occasionally a shooter like Overwatch. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
  9. WoW is my main game but I do play a lot of RPGs and some FPS games semi-often and I'm really gearing up for Cyberpunk 2077. I just really want a 144hz monitor. I don't think I need a super fast response time since I don't play at the top end in games, I think I'd much more prefer a better picture. I still want it to be responsive enough for when I am being a try-hard I guess.
  10. I'm buying a higher refresh rate monitor soon and I'm trying to do so much research but I just can't decide on the best monitor. My PC has a GTX 1070, a ryzen 5 3600 and 16gb of ram. My budget is up to $300. It needs to be at least 1080p, 144hz and have good color display and response time. I don't play extremely competitive but I do play MMOs and stuff. I would also prefer one with a black frameless/bezel-less design because I really like the way my current ASUS one looks. That's about it, I'm still trying to figure out the different panels and difference between flat and curved and I don't think I want a TN but maybe someone who knows better can help with that. It seems like IPS or VA would be better for me but IDK. If you guys could push me to picking out a specific one I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
