£500 for what works well in the tower, Monitor upgrades are next summer and if I ever game heavily i can upgrade my PC with the help of friends I'm sure

I thought so! Tbf I'm not fussed about upgrade potential as it'll only be for light gaming/uni work for the next 3-4 years and if i want something heavier I can look at that down the line! I have a 60 hertz monitor at the moment and don't plan on upgrading that until I move in the summer and get a dual monitor set up

Hi guys! New to this and despite the numerous amount of scrapyard wars I've watched, I have no clue when it comes to buying my own device. Looking for a tower that I can game on (Assassins Creed etc) for under £500 if that's even possible? I've already a mouse/keyboard/monitor etc, just need the actual set up as my mac is awful for gaming! Thanks!
