  1. If anyone is reading this thread and is having the same problem. None of the solutions here worked, from further research and after asking around some people with the exact same board. It seems like this board is simply too low quality and doesn't support turbo boost. Switching the motherboard will probably be the best course of action.
  2. Using the curent motherboard that I have right now, my cpu won't boost no matter what I tried. I have been told that it was a power limit thing. So I've decided to ditch the current motherboard and upgrade to this, an Asrock B75 Pro3-M. But I have no idea how to identify VRMs. So can someone help me and tell me if this motherboard has at least decent thermals and will make my cpu boosts? Here's its official product page, https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/B75 Pro3-M/
  3. Sorry for taking too long to reply. Here are the pictures, (there are too many to upload at once, sorry if its separated to a few)
  4. No thermal throttling but idk where to see the power limit thing
  5. Yep, they're not turboing and turbo mode is definitely enabled
  6. AIDA 64 didn't show it to be more than 3193 mhz ever
  7. The temps never got above 60 celsius and I used aida 64 to check the core speed, I've checked the bios and turbo boost is marked on but I still only get 3.19 ghz when I look at task manager while aida is running
  8. I just bought a new motherboard along with an i5 3470. It's running fine except for the fact that the clock speed never got above 3.2 ghz which sucks as I would be losing performance and not getting that extra 400 mhz. I've tried using aida 64 stability test to get it over 3.2 but it still never got above it. Any Ideas?
