  1. Well thanks for the advice. Unfourtunately it is not just for looks as that would make this process a hell of a lot easier.
  2. if only it was that easy, and honestly it should be. there really isn't any reason why the couldn't be standardized other than they just don't want to put in the tiny amount of effort to do so
  3. are they the same? i have heard that the connectors tended to vary between some manufacturers, and on sites such as cable mod many of the cable kits are labeled with a manufacturer. the cable would be for a gpu
  4. i am looking for power connectors that are compatible with my gigabyte G750H and am struggling to find any, all the cables that i can find are only compatible with other brands. i am specifically looking for a PCIe 8 pin to 2x 6+2pin connector. any suggestions on what i should use (color and type of cable does not matter as long as it is compatible with the gigabyte PSU and is 8 pin to 2x 6+2 pin).
  5. just finished building my pc and have had multiple critical structure errors crashing my computer caused by the asus lighting service over the past few weeks. Is there any fix to this?
  6. cablemod doesn't seem to make cables for gigabyte PSU's. i have contacted gigabyte support but i have not gotten any response yet.
  7. I accidentally recycled my second PCIe power connector for my Gigabyte g705h and i cant seem to find anywhere to get a replacement for this power supply, only for PSU's from other manufacturers. Any suggestions of what i should use? I would need it to be an 8 pin to 2x 6+2 pin cable.
  8. Alright, it does not seem to be a single thick cable however. It looks like the second 6+2pin cable is coming out of the first 6+2pin connector. Does that change anything?
  9. I am currently putting together a pc with a 780 ti and am having trouble figuring out what power cables to connect to it. My gigabyte g750h power supply came with pcie cables that go from 8 pin to 2x 6pin+2pin and the 780 ti has one 8 pin and one 6 pin power connector. Does this mean that i only need a single cable from the psu to power the card using one 6pin+2pin and one 6 pin or do i need 2 seperate cables from the psu?
  10. I do plan on overclocking the 780 ti's.

  12. i was looking at the Gigabyte 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply but i am in need of another 4 pin atx connector to the motherboard that this one does not have. which one should i go with?
  13. just a question, why AMD over Intel? it seems like there is a performance boost, however, the last time i used AMD i had a lot of problems with drivers for the cpu, although this was a few years ago.
