  1. I'm wanting to upgrade my tower. Im using it to build for my brother so I want to get myself a new one. Can anyone recommend a good rgb fulltower case? Maybe one that can take some 200 MM fans? That comes with fans as well.
  2. Isn't most of it going onto the Mobo? Feel the case isn't doing much. Also you might he right. Maybe I should just get a different case. The be quiet full tower looked good.
  3. Well at the same time doesn't the bulk of the cooler pose a problem? Like for the Mobo? Sag since its so big and it would look terrible in a Lian li XL case
  4. I read they were none conductive. I guess I'm wrong. My bad. Still learning.
  5. I'm not really ready to go that hard-core on a build yet. Maybe when I build a less expensive one I'd be willing to but my build is worth to much to accidentally destroy it. That being said. Ik Air cooling is better. I have a dark rock pro 4. But like I said. I want a more clean looking build.
  6. So I'm planning to build my brother a PC soon and plan to use my old case to do it which means I'm buying myself a new case. The Lian Li XL 011 to be exact. Since I learned how safe AIOs are (i.e. the water in it is none conductive) I decided I'd move to AIO to clean up my build. Now I'm wondering what the best AIO is. Or water cooling solution. Looking to clean up my build so looking for any any all ideas. I have a i9-9900K. Not overclocked. (It was my first build so i didn't realize having a K version was worthless to me.) I've looked at Amazon and lots of the reviews are so bad idk whats good.
  7. They are. Are you sure? Because I read mixing kits is bad. Do they mean different brands?
  8. Thanks I decided to stick with Air cooling
  9. So I bought a 32 GB kit of ram hoping to put it with my current 16 GB kit. Don't ask why I'm putting in more. It's simply because I can not because i need it. But I'm guessing even if they are the same exact RAM they won't play nice on my Asus Maximum Hero mobo?
  10. Not to mention how do I keep it from leaking on my components?
  11. Saw a Amazon review for the ROG AIO cooler and they said it leaked and destroyed their whole rig. Though I feel trusting Amazon reviews is a bad idea
  12. Hmmm no just I've noticed high idle usage on my PC. Probably bc of all the stuff running in the background. But I wanted to upgrade to 32 GB. And like I said I'm worried about it leaking. Can I test it before I hook it up? Does my case support it? And how long do they have to be tested? Because I was hoping to upgrade right away when they come out. Heard they are suppose to be faster and have better ray tracing.
  13. Upgrading later on. Really hard to get to my GPU which I do plan to do in the future when the 30 series comes out and I want to upgrade my ram to 32 GB but can't since I have to remove the heat sink
  14. So I'm trying to figure out if I want to upgrade to a AIO cooler. I have reason why I do and reasons I don't. Well first off the cooler I have is just fine. I have a Dark rock Pro 4 and I love it. Keeps everything nice and chilly though might be over kill for not overclocking but I don't need to. Im running a 9900K so I thought it needed it at the time. So the Dark rock Pro 4 is great but its wayyyyy to big. I can't get to any of my components without removing it. Especially my ram and second NVME drive bay. Now I'd love to upgrade to a AIO cooler that way I can easier get to components without having to reapply thermal paste. No I'm worried about buying a AIO cooler bc I've heard horror stories of them leaking and destroying PCs. Not to mention I'm not sure if my case can fit a AIO cooler since I want the biggest one at 360 MM. I currently have a Corsair Graphite 780T Full tower. Any advice others can offer would be awesome.
  15. It's not a huge issue no. As I'm saving up for it. But in the end $1100 is $1100
  16. Hmmm so you think getting a 2080 ti would be better since it's not as new? But the price is crazy for it.
  17. Hmmmm well honestly I think I'll wait. Seems to me that ray tracing will be more perfected in 30 Series. Plus if I wait till the 3080 ti then I don't have to worry about upgrading for a long long time.

  19. Is it still taxing even on a 2080 ti? If so I think waiting is my best bet. Because that's another reason why I want the 2080 ti figured it would be better at ray tracing at 4k
  20. Do you plan to upgrade? Another reason I wanted to was because or ray tracing. It looks pretty cool. But I hear it causes a lot of performance issues with other cards under the 2080
  21. I'm pretty satisfied with my 1070 TI Ultra silent. Just wanted to upgrade to the best so I don't have to for a while. I'm thinking waiting for 3080 ti is my best bet so I don't like the idea of selling to someone on Ebay or Cragslist
  22. Guess I might wait then. Because last thing I want is to spend so much money then the next gen comes out. I'm sure my GPU can handle cyber punk. Maybe not at max at 1440 P
  23. Well at the moment I'm running a 1070 Ti along side a i9-9900K kinda wanna be able to use my 4K TV to it's full potential. Instead of just 1440 P
  24. I'm fine with waiting. Heard the 30 Series is supposed to be even cheaper. Do we have proof the 30 series is coming out?
  25. I'm trying to decide if I should buy the 2080 Ti or just wait till the 3080 Ti comes out. If it even is going to come out it may not. Should I wait? Because I still see people buying them instead of waiting for the new ones.
