  1. Currently, I have a Tp-link Archer and a smaller Tplink as a repeater and wifi coverage is shitty. The house is made from reinforced concrete panels and they don't like wifi. I just like how it works all together in one system, their AP, cable LAN, security camera, and doorbell. Plus when I'm doing whole place reconstruction cost is small compared to other stuff I have to do.
  2. Hi, I'll be doing some renovations on my old flat, and I'm trying to plan my home network setup. The flat is about 90m2, I don't understand it much but after some research, I would love to try Ubiquity because I like how it works for LMG and their staff. I have a rough layout of the place with ethernet ports, AP, and a place to put a rack plus the equipment I think would be the best for me. But I'm not sure. My old setup was a TP-link router and one repeater. Now I'm trying to do it better. Can you please tell me if those two APs would be enough or if it's a total overkill? I'm really not sure. Thanks a lot! Edit: Just to clarify, it's a old reinforced concrete house so wifi strength is an issue Edit: I have to do Cat6 cabling and everything from scratch. Currently there is nothing.
  3. I would love to do the upgrade but there is budget limitation. And I still don't have time to play games as much as I would love to. So spend big money now just to find out I don't use it is a bit pointless. I would spend like 40$US right now to upgrade old parts to the max and then save some money to buy new parts if I use the PC. I already reinstall windows so that helped a lot. I found C2Q Q9550 for 20$US on ebay at that will boos my CPU performence by 25% give or take.
  4. Hi, I just discovered my old PC I got many years ago. I used to play games quite a lot, but did not have time in past few years. I would love to upgrade my old PC, then add new parts and after that build a new PC in few months, so I can play some new games and to return to SC2 as I really enjoyed the game :D It's Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Nvidia 8800 GTX, 4GB DDR2 RAM, some old WD HDD and Blue Storm II 500 as power supply. On ebay I found 8GB kit of ram, that is max my MB support, I'll change CPU for C2Q Q9550 also from ebay. I think that will help a lot. After that I plan to change power supply for Corsaire TX550, change HDD for M2 drive used with reduction to sata. Buy new GPU and finally after that buy a new MB, CPU and Ram, something like Ryzen 5 3600, B450 MB, 16 GB ram. I just struggle with the GPU. Do you think it's a good idea how to upgrade my pc in a few months?
  5. Hi, I'm looking for a replacement of my old Lenovo T410. Most of the time I have it on the stand with second monitor, doing some office work on one monitor and on the second I have youtube or spotify as a background. I'll use it for work and once a month for a starcraft 2 play with my roomate and that's it. Cheeper is better as my budget is limited.Thank you for your suggestion!
