  1. Unfortunately internet searches have yielded nothing, MSI forums as well. At this point i just need to know which piece if hardware i ruined as all my college stuff is on this build.
  2. Okay, i went back to the bios that released about a month before i bought my motherboard, i can get to the bios no problem but it did the same thing after its automatic restart, windows error codes and then it tries to restart and then just black screens.
  3. I can get to the bios no problem, i can try an older version yet, i went from the newest to 3 or 4 versions back, would it be best to get the oldest i can? The broken textures only show up when i tried to install windows on anither drive.
  4. I would like to go back to my old bios version but i have no clue which version it was. I have been having issues with my gpu drivers/radeon software lately but nothing apart from that, i was updating the bios because it dawned on me that i had never updated them.
  5. After updating the bios on my motherboard and automatic restart, windows crashed immediately on startup and then tries to restart the pc, whuch just end up vlack screening. I have tried clearing my CMOS and installing both the newest and older versions of my bios, i have tried temoving the HHD (the drive with windows installed) and loading windows onto one of my ssds but i get a black screen with red broken textures on the bottom (see attached). I have no idea what to do now, or knowledge of what has gone wrong. MSI MPG X570 gaming Plus XFX 5700xt Ryzen 7 2700x 32Gb ddr4 gskill Ripjaw 2x 500Gb Sandisk Ultra SSD 1x WD Blue 1Tb HDD
  6. I have recently built my new system AMD 5700 XT, Ryzen 7 2700x, 16Gb Gskill Ripjaw. I am having an issue where my GPU will not recognize a game for instance Escape From Tarkov or even minecraft at one point. When fullscreen at 1080p I get extremely low fps, like -30. I can see from my radeon software that my gpu is not being utilized at all, that is until I either alt-tab or go to a windowed view of my game and then it ramps up like its supposed to. but when I change back it drops down and acts like there is no game running. I have tried removing and reinstalling drivers, have the latest AMD patch and can still replicate this at any time. Is there anything else I can try? I spent 4 months saving and buying this pc, I can't just swap to another gpu.
  7. I just finished putting my first system together. I can get to my bios, for a few seconds at least. Then all power cuts, like it was unplugged. I see that my VGA ez debug light is red. I have completely torn this thing apart and back together again. I have checked every manual and book i have to try and find the answer. I cant stay in the bios long enough to change my boot order to my usb that has my windows install. Final edit. After further teardown and inspection i had part of my AIO mounted incorrectly and that was causing an overheat that was answered with shutdown.
  8. The full budget doesn't really matter as im spacing it alll out, half the parts are here already. As for my monitors i have 2 at 1080p 75h dumpsters that are being changed to 2 at 1440p 144h. I would go with 4k but is just too much to look at in terms of panel size, and tarkov looks like junk when its downscaled that much.
  9. I am planning my new/first build at the moment, My budget for my CPU is between 300-600 USD. I can't choose between the Ryzen 7 3800x or Ryzen 9 3900X. I plan on using this rig for lots of gaming, from Modern Warfare (2019) to Destiny 2 to Arma 3, however I mostly play Escape From Tarkov, a game that is not known for its great optimization. There will also be light photo and video editing. Is there any reason except for future proofing, core count, core clocks/boost, that I should get the 3900x or should I save a little and put it somewhere else in the build. I am extremely new to the building aspect of PC gaming, I want to build this fairly soon as my current rig (GTX 970, AMD FX(6300)) just can't some of the newer games I want to play without chugging like a slideshow. Any input is greatly appreciated and I look forward to what you all have to say.
