one of my ram stix was not all the way in. noob mistake. my first pc build.

i have 16gigs installed but my pc is only reading 1 8gig stick how do i fix it? i have a asrock mobo, pny ram

one is sata power, one it the sata that goes to the mobo then there is a random 4 connector on there to and i dont know what it is. its a seagate barracuda 1tb

idk if tthere is a protective film on the thermal paste on stock intel processor cooling fans. is there? i dont want to take the fan off in case there is not a film on it and then have to go buy new thermal paste

i am a noob to pc building so i ordered a cpu that does not have integrated graphics but i do have a gpu. how would i set that up? do i have to have the gpu drivers downloaded on to my usb drive for when i go to first boot the pc?
