Hello, as the title states I am very much a beginner when it comes to understanding computer specs and I am having a difficult time figuring out what laptop would be best for me. I was hoping this kind community could help me in my journey. So ideally I would like a laptop between $300-$600 USD that will be primarily used for gaming. Games like COD modern warfare I would like to run smoothly with no apparent lag. I understand CPU and core processors have a very large effect on this but I don't know how to optimize specs within that price range that will give me the fastest speeds and least amount of lag. I understand that obviously a $1500 laptop will be smoother and better than a $500 laptop but I am in college and don't make a lot of money so for now something within the $500 range would be ideal.
