  1. Thank you for your help and information by the way. I appreciate it a lot. I have another question though. On the power supply it has "form factor" and either sfx or atx. Whats the difference and is one better?
  2. G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin SDRAM DDR4 2666 (PC4 21300) F4-2666C15D-32GVR https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01A10WTGQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_yTo3DbRZD4SQD These are the ones im looking at but im not seeing 3200 specifically mentioned anywhere?
  3. I think it says the ripjaws are CL 15 if im understanding what CL is (cas latency?)
  4. Oh that was a typo on my part sorry about that. I actually did mean the 3200 ripjaws
  5. Is the oloy ram better than the g.skill ripjaws? @bombastinator had mentioned the 9700k was iffy? I appreciate the help and im not trying to shoot down any ideas, like i said im new and just trying to learn how to do this and how to choose one part over another.
  6. No. I just updated the list to show parts i currently have (underlined)
  7. I dont think the list is compatible with the motherboard i already have?
  8. Whats a better cost effective one? I meant i5 8600k
  9. I think i may drop the cpu to an intel i5 8700k? According to pc partpicker site everything is compatible. I think i can lower the psu to a 650 as from what i've found online you want it to be close to your system with a little overhead?
  10. ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC) LGA1151 DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 Z370 ATX Motherboard with onboard 802.11ac WiFi, Gigabit LAN and USB 3.1 for 8th Generation Intel Core Processors https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075RJ944T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_.wi3DbPK746YN Im not sure what revision it is?
  11. I'm open to suggestions. Just remember im a newb when it comes to building. This is literally a parts list i found and then edited a tiny bit and added the peripherals i wanted.
  12. With a little luck and patience i can get the 1080ti FE for $700
  13. What cpu would you suggest for a gaming pc?
  14. So far i don't have many of the parts on the list. Just the case, some peripherals and the motherboard. I like the 42" monitor because thats what im used to playing on, so most monitors feel too small. 42" is my preferred sweet spot. The budget is roughly $2500 for the whole deal. The build honestly is just for a few different games. Mainly wow classic and bethesda games. Like i said i havent built a pc before and just found this list online. Also the refresh rate on that monitor is 60 hz and 5ms response time and im US based.
