  1. The question is...is it automated with GUI and all? I am ok with Windows but I dont have super tech savy knowledge.
  2. Is there any free\cheap software or hardware that will test all vulnerabilities of the network etc? For example: Is Wifi safe? Are all ports safely secured? Are devices up to date? Is the device ok\healthy? etc etc, I want to be able to use this for my home and for my family. But also small companies. There are companies that sell you software for thousands of dollars but i dont have that kind of money. Or spending 100$ a hour for a network engineer for a one time check.
  3. There is a laptop wich is the exact same as mine but with a 120hz display. Thst costs 150 more but its new and nowehere in stock yet sadly. I have a use a month and return policy so hopefully it will come out by then. If not i wont pay 800 extra for just a 120hz display and a RTX 2060
  4. Hi guys, i bought a MSI laptop for 1200 euro with the following specs: GTX 1650 1920x1080 IPS with 60hz i7 16gb RAM 256 SSD I dont play shooter games but i do play games like Diablo 3 and Path of Exile. ARPG games. Where i sometimes kill and move monsters really fast. Will i see or feel a difference if i went for an upgraded version with 120hz? Or do you only see advantage in shooter games where you need to move the mouse. With the games im playing im moving fast and entering new rooms. I dont mind seeing a monster a millisecond later. But i dont want the game to stutter. I want a smooth expierence. if i want a 120hz one i need to pay 800 more. It comes with a RTX 2060 but i dont play triple A games really. Is that worth it?
  5. Thats a good thing to keep an eye on! btw im stick between: MSI GF series > GTX 1650 vs MSI GS series > GTX 1660 TI The 1660 TI is beter in performance as i check the charts but is that worth a 600 dollar difference?
  6. i read about undervolting. I might buy an MSI GTX 1650 and undervolt it.
  7. I used to use a HP laptop on my lab and it burned my leg. My entire left leg was black because of if. Luckily its all gone now crazy right? So im asking for the impossible? Hehe I guess i would go for thin & silent then. the heat only scares me that it will damage the internals. And maybe my dinner table lol. I usually game on the dinnertable or on the couch on my lab. And feeling the heat makes me a lil afraid.
  8. Forgot to add it in my original thread! I edited my post. My budget is 2.000
  9. Hi everyone, The problem: I need a new gaming laptop. But I got a big problem...I want one which doenst make alot of noise and doenst get too hot. I dont play triple A games really. I play games like: Diablo 3 & Path of Exile But i want them to play smoothly and be future proof for their upcoming games aswel. These games will release in the upcoming 2 to 4 years. Sadly the requirements and there yet but its not going to be wild like a triple A game so i dont need anything crazy. My history: I used to had a GT (thickest of the series) MSI laptop with a GTX 1060 which made alot of noise and heat. The laptop even gets hot with turbo cooling enabled. I sold that machine a few weeks ago. So buying a fat laptop didnt do the trick for me. The “no”: Before you guys are going to try and convince me for a gaming desktop. Thats a no go. I want to be able to game in the living room. And my wife will never allow a pc/desk in the living room e-GPU: I also thought about a e-GPU but its a alot of hassle. Its not plug and play as far as i heard from people. The technology isn’t 100% ready for consumers who arent into IT that much. Or did i get misinformed? I am afraid to buy a laptop and e-GPU and that it doenst work normaly. Cloud gaming: This would be perfect but only latency issue would kill it for me and the games i mentioned above cannot be played with for example a Google Stadia account. Still waiting for more companies getting into the cloud business. I heard Microsoft is also getting its game on. Would have prefered having a gaming cloud Windows 10 client where i can install and do everything i want for myself. My wishes: My requirements for a laptop: 1-) 17inch with small bezels (must also be a IPS panel) 2-) 16gb of RAM 3-) Storage doenst mather aslong as it has an SSD 4-) Prefer thin 5-) Keyboard lights (like the Christmas lights in America you know ) I thought about a MSI laptop with a RTX 2060 or a GTX 1650. I got a budget of 2.000 euro’s. I dont mind paying 100 or 200 more if its add alot more value. GPU confusion: The 1650 came out this year but is a lil weaker then my previous GTX 1060. So whats the difference really? Makes me kinda confused. It does generate less heat and noise when i look it up online. My question for you guys: -What now? -Should i get a gaming laptop? If so which one -Should I try something else? (Like e-GPU etc) -Is there any company working on trying to solve the heat and noise problems in laptops? Not: English is my third language so im sorry for any spelling misstakes. Im from Europe. Edit: Linus should make a new video about laptop’s main issue’s “heat” & “noise” .
