  1. Thanks for the info! I just tried rearranging the four RAM sticks just for the heck of it, and low and behold task manager shows that the RAM is at 1467Mhz (DDR (X2) would be 2934Mhz). The Bios still shows 2133 though. I don't know if I should trust task manager or Bios, but either way, it's weird.
  2. Huh, Ok I'll check it out. What's the placebos effect?
  3. For some reason, my Bios is not letting me change Ram speeds to anything but the default 2133Mhz (My RAM is rated for 3000Mhz). Updating the XMP profiles and manually changing speed does nothing. Please help! FYI I'm using an MSI B450 Gaming Plus motherboard.
  4. I I just bought 16gb of 3000MHz ram to add to my existing 16gb 3000Mhz for my PC, and I can't change the frequency to anything but the default 2133Mhz. I tried all the AXMP profiles, manually setting the frequency, etc. to no avail. FYI, the PC does recognize that I have a total of 32gb of RAM installed now. Also, every time I went out of bios to save the settings, my PC would uncontrollably turn on and off for like 2 minutes, and then it would be fine. I am kind of a newbie to software settings so anything would be helpful!
