  1. I don't have any of those settings in my bios, but I did disable hibernation from console yesterday
  2. Yes, I did, and it didn't work aswell, forgot to add that sorry
  3. Hello friends, I'm new here, and I specifically joined to submit to you guys this problem that is bugging me alot lately... I have been having an Asus ROG GL703GM gaming laptop for a year now, everything was perfectly fine... untill the last week or so... now it keeps shutting down while I'm gaming. It doesn't crash tho, it literally says on screen: "locking..." with the normal animation and it shuts down, that is it. Then, if I turn it back on, i get back in game automatically (it's an online game whaat) and everything goes back to normal for a while. I looked into the event viewer, and it was giving me a Power/Kernel error everytime this shutdown was happening. This is the error i am getting: "The system firmware has changed the processor's memory type range registers (MTRRs) across a sleep state transition (S5). This can result in reduced resume performance." Oh and by the way nothing is overclocked. EDIT: It also turns off when running Prime95 with Small FTTs These are the things I already tried: Undervolting the cpu to keep it cooler (it reached +75C at -150mV) but didn't work Checked GPU temps, and they are fine (mid 60s) Antivirus scan... no viruses found. Uninstalled the video drivers, installed older ones, didn't work. Run the power trubleshooters, didn't work. Memory check, no problems found. Reset the power plan, didn't work. Reinstalled the game, didn't work. (Also tried other games and it did the same thing) Reinstalled Windows 10, didn't work. Switch peripherals (I read somwhere that it can be the problem) but didn't work aswell. Please help me because I'm actually getting insane. Thank you!
