  1. Keep the faith, good brotha. Linus gonna do right by you. Positive affirmations!
  2. Thank you all for the replies. Like I said, this wasn't concrete or anything, I was just curious at the value. And full disclosure, I thought about selling it to a friend of mine as they don't care for the latest and greatest. Me either, but I'd benefit more from a newer build than them if y'all get what I'm saying. But all this was a training exercise anyway to just see what the current value looked like. I didn't plan to do another build until at least 2027 personally unless I came into some more disposable income, haha. Here is an older pic of the PC. Too lazy to get a close up, but It's more less the same. Only change is the positioning on an ikea cabinet and that I had added a 4TB NVMe that I intended to keep, haha. Once again thank you all for the replies. @PDifolco as well.
  3. Potentially looking to sell my current rig and jump to AM5. This isn't concrete locked or anything, but was just getting a feel of what would be fair market value and not to finesse anyone. And give or take what I could ask if I swapped out the 6800 XT with a 6700 XT. Possible I would keep the 6800 XT for my HTPC and put the 6700 XT in the potential selling build. Thanks for the help!
  4. That's a big yikes. I just hope they identify the real affected users and not some meatball who really is cheating and turned on AL+ to say "Hey look at me, I turned it on too" and gets unbanned. With that out of the way, I just laugh. Gaming didn't used to be so hard back in my day. The 2010s and up have been absolute garbage, lmao.
  5. Hello all About to purchase a new TV with HDMI 2.1 and wanted to know of suggestions that I can purchase off Amazon that would take advantage of the TV's 120/144hz capabilities. I see some cables claiming of being the correct HDMI 2.1 Ultra Highspeed, but don't know for sure who's selling snake oil and a real premium version. All links would be helpful. Also looking for an 8 or 10ft HDMI 2.0 cable that one could suggest. I plan to hook a secondary 4K TV up to my PC. Thanks for any and all help. I appreciate it.

  7. Just came to say Userbenchmark is trash. Stay safe.
  8. Also, unfortunately AMD doesn't have the marketshare for partners to make a ton of white GPUs in an already niche market as state above.
  9. I'd be very surprised if it couldn't. OP could use PBO to help with temps. I know my 5800X3D saw a major difference when I started using that. Only problem there is if his motherboard supports PBO support for the X3D chip on a B450. That part I'm not sure. Well, the 5800X3D is a 105w chip and see above, IF his board allows for PBO and they can set a negative offset, OP should be fine, imo. But what you said is definitely something to keep in mine.
  10. You gotta give the OP a 5800X3D if just upgrading current parts! Still would have like 1k for the GPU, lol.
  11. Which is why I included two builds. Also, one of the drives from his current build is different than his rough draft build. Current build he has a WD NVMe and on the upgrade partpicker list, he has a Kingston. Not sure if an error, however. With that said, I have a list with the storage and without.

  13. Alright, let's wrap this shit up by 12pm EST tomorrow. Gn said they peace. Linus said his. Let's move on to some new toxic stuff!
  14. We live in some truly wild times where we gotta sweat if our SSD's will work with current-gen GPU's. WILD TIMES, FRIENDS! WILDEST OF TIMES!
  15. I'd say $100- $110. I've seen a ton of 5700 XT's going for $130-$150. It's a couple on eBay right now actually.

You can even bring it down even more if you wanted to spend less on an AIO. $300 is ALOT to me, but you might want it for the aesthetic.
  17. This is the way. The ONLY thing I'd change is that AM5 motherboard. All those high-end pieces on such a lowly board would be kinda wild, imo. I'd say bump 'em up to a base B650 board and this is Chef's kiss. Intel version, no complaints.
  18. This will never work because folks can't help themselves. No me though. Stay safe outchea.
  19. Where did you order this? I always wanted a custom keyboard with a full keypad that didn't look crazy. This looks clean, lol.
