if i choose pc i also cant go past 75 hz

there i can only choose up to 75 hz and in costomize if i choose 144hz nothing happena

yes but i have a question. If i go to windows settings and than advancedmonitor settings you see your graphics gard. If i then press see all modi it doesn't show 144hz. Shouldn't my graphics gard Always show that even without a high refresh rate monitor. A friend of mine has a 75hz monitor but he can choose 144hz at the graphics gard. (the picture is dutch but its so you know where i am talking about

I already tried that, when i press test it goes black for a few sec and than it goes back and it didn't do anything. I tried making one with just 75hz and that did work

I just bought a aoc 24g2u which is a 1080p 144hz monitor. I am using a displayport and i have a rtx 2060. The problem is that i cant get it to 144hz. I have tried windows settings and Nvidia control panel but i can't go beyond 75 hz.

I want to upgrade my cpu but dont know to witch one. The r7 2700x cost 175 euros in my region (the netherlands) and the i5 9600kf and r5 3600 are both 200 euros. My gpu is a rtx 2060.
