  1. Everything was plugged into a APC SurgeArrest Powerstrip, after reading about ground loops I tried plugging the speakers into a seperate power outlet, which didn't fix it. I also bought a groundloop isolator ( AV:Link Ground Loop Isolator ) - that partially cleared up the noise, but still left a discernable amount of interference.
  2. Recently I've upgraded my GTX 1070 to a RTX 2070S. While benchmarking my new gpu, I heard a loud pop coming from the speakers. After that, interference was suddenly present ( buzzing noises while scrolling and doing things ). - groundloop? Strangely enough rebooting the computer fixes the interference and everything is absolutely quiet again. Putting the gpu under load again reproduces this problem. My specifications are as follows: Intel Core i7 6700K @ 4.5Ghz 32GB 2666 RAM Gigabyte RTX 2070S WindForce BeQuiet! Dark Power Pro 11 750W BeQuiet! Silent Base 900 Case Asus Xonar DX soundcard ( with external floppy power connector ) Logitech Z-2300 2.1 speakers Asus ROG P348Q monitor, 3440x1440 Switching to onboard audio, or to another soundcard ( Asus Xonar AE ) fixes the problem. My outlets are not grounded, the computer and the logitech speakers are not connected to the same outlet. I am using the analog out from the computer/soundcard to the speakerset Some additional information, a while back my PSU seemed dead, and was sent back under warranty. The shop then told me the PSU was in perfect working order - but upon receiving it, I noticed the OC key was not plugged in anymore. This OC key basically puts all the 12v rails together into one big 12v rail. Could a defective rail cause similar issues? I have no clue why this is happening all of a sudden. The same system with the GTX 1070 works just fine.
