  1. Basically my wife and I were in a car accident a long time ago. We've recovered but due to permanent nerve and tendon damage she has difficulty spreading here fingers apart. She can still type and spread here fingers to type or play games. But it wears out her hands much faster the further she has to spread her fingers to the side. Unfortunately we are both lifetime PC gamers so it's a lot for her to be so limited in doing what she loves. I have learned that the standard pitch for keyboards is 19mm pitch (distance between the center of keys) but we noticed that when she uses her school computer, an old Microsoft Surface Pro 5 which comes with a keyboard that has about 17mm-18mm pitch it is far more comfortable for her to use. It seems really weird but just that little bit of spacing between the keys makes a big difference for her. I have been attempting to track down some keyboards with smaller than the standard pitch but can't seem to find many options. Most of what I can find don't list the pitch at all. I can find keyboards that are listed as compact with sizing by percentage compared to a full keyboard and remove keys entirely. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Anyone know of a USB keyboard similar to the Surface Pro with it's small distance between buttons, about 17.5mm-18mm pitch? Or any keyboard for that matter? Also it is entirely possible that I am just using the wrong terms when I try to search on my own. So please feel free to correct me on my use of terms or let me know what I should be searching for. Thank you in advance for any help or pointing in the right direction. :-)
  2. Just how likely is it that the next generation of architecture will be availible for sale from either Nvidia or AMD by July of 2020? The reason I am asking is that it is time to upgrade my 10 year old system and I debating on buying now vs waiting for next best. For the GPU my budget is $1,400. I can either set all the money aside and wait or spend it now. The Nvidia Ampere sounds pretty cool. And the AMD rDNA also sounds interesting. The reason for the deadline is that World of Warcraft Shadowlands is coming out in August or September. My current 10 year old rig is good emough to hold me over for a while since I currently don't game much. But a mounth before the new WOW drops I'll be gaming alot. My plan is to either build a new rig now or wait until right before the new expansion drops and buy up the best i can for the budget. My total budget is $3,500 but i planned $1,400 of that on the gpu. Current specs: Intel DH-55 motherboard. Intel Core i5 760. 16g 1333mhz ddr3 ram. Nvidia geforce gtx 550 ti. Both gpu & cpu are OC and water cooled. All in an old Koolance Fridged Case. You don"t see many of those anymore. Yes i know it is embarrassingly old. But I've put a lot of mileage on it and it has had a ton of server & region first kills on it. If i had to buy a gpu now i would pick the EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti XC ULTRA GAMING.
