  1. I think we will go with the MSI Tomahawk max. Thank you all so much for your assistance!
  2. Cool, appreciate it. Would you happen to have a suggestion on a motherboard that wouldn't require a BIOS update?
  3. Sorry for the bump, but just a quick update, I ran across the 3600x on Amazon for $199 so we went with that. Is the ram still an optimal speed for that processor?
  4. Yes, it's USD, my fault for forgetting that. I've looked into the 3600, especially with seeing them dip down to the $175 area a couple of times.
  5. Currently in the planning stages of building my wife a new gaming PC. I recently upgraded the graphics card in my setup from a gtx 1070, which will be used in whatever we purchase. I had a mATX build pieced together, but form factor isn't a deal breaker if better performance is achievable within budget. Storage is where I need the most help on, I'm not sure if the drives I picked out are any good. Budget & Location We are in the US and would like to keep it in the $550 - $650 USD range. 2. Aim She would primarily be using the PC for 1080p gaming (she plays MMOs like World of Warcraft and FFXIV). Other than gaming she would be using Excel and other Microsoft Office apps. More than likely we won't overclock the cpu. 3. Monitors She currently has an Acer GF246 1920x1080 75hz monitor. She does plan to run a second monitor in the future. 4. Peripherals None needed. 5. Why are you upgrading? She's running and old iBuypower prebuilt running a fx-6300 with a 390x card and 8gb of ram. I'd be happy to answer any questions and I appreciate any help you could give me!
