I have a razer huntsman at my mom's house and want to get another mechanical keyboard for my dad's house. I am not sure if I want to get another huntsman because while I LOVE the switches in it, not for the speed, but for the feel. I also know I like cherry browns. Any good keyboard recommendations? I don't want to spend more than 120-150 usd. Thanks!
I have a Sinclair Spectrum, it was my mom's computer, it is in great condition, but its a model built for use in israel, and I live in the us, so power frequencies wouldn't make it work, also I don't a display that'll work with it. But it looks cool
No stand by light or anything, if I try turning it on, nothing happens. It is also important to say that when the tv there was a faint melted plastic smell coming from the vents. At this point I really think the board is dead, and I will probably just order a replacement, but I am not sure what will happen if that doesn't work.
Yeah, that's why I am not touching anything, and I talked to family friend who has more knowledge than me in stuff like this, and I really think that the power board is just dead and will just probably just order a replacement part.
I am fixing my Vizio e550i-b2 tv, and I have a strong suspicion that the power distribution board is dead. I am trying to use a multimeter to see if there is any current to see if it is dead, but I can't find any points to press the pins against. Does anyone know how I could find the points or where the points are?
Hi, my family's TV broke, we think the tv psu might be dead or something melted/burned because we smelt melting plastic when it stopped working. The tv is a vizio tv, and my family has already ordered a replacement. I wanted to take the screen, modify the 3d printed monitor case from the LTT video where they used a laptop screen to make a new monitor. Do you think this could work as well as it did in the video? And what other things will I have to do to make it work? I was planning on wall mounting it above my desk as an overhead display and to watch movies on it. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
It has an i3 Idk which variant but I got it about 5-6 years ago, it has 16 gb of ddr3 ram, the hard drives above. I will need to upgrade the networking because it is using a usb (2.0) wifi dongle as it's only networking.
I want to build a NAS because I need storage that can be accessed by all of my computers, 2 pcs and a macbook pro. I want to keep the build small and as cheap as possible.
I do have a really shitty i3 in one of my older shitty computers that I may use. And 2 1tb drives but I want to get larger and faster ones because those are like a decade old.
If possible I'd like to keep under $400-500 (usd).
Thanks!
I don't want to spend more than ~400, I might wait a year before doing this project if it costs more because I just spent $1500 on my new pc and soon a new monitor.
Get the airpods 2. Sound quality isn't the best but it is probably the best for apple devices, but be warned it will dig the person deeper into the apple ecosystem.
I use a macbook pro and a desktop a lot and want to use my keyboard and mouse on both. Should I spend the $30 on synergy? Is there an alternative I can do for cheaper or works better?
I need a new monitor, my current one is falling apart. I would like to spend at most ~500. I was thinking about the lg gl850-b. I want 1440p at 27". Ultrawide would be nice but not necessary. I also would like 100 hz at least.
