So I built a new PC about a month ago, and everything seemed to go fine. It booted up first try and everything seemed to be working, except for the monitor which came with a broken screen but that isn't important right now. So about a week ago, I wake up and went to go use my PC. It was shut off because of the amount of time it had sat inactive. I turned it on and my monitor turned on for a second before saying no signal and turning back off. The PC still appears to be on but the monitor isn't getting any signal. SO I turn the PC off and Back on again and this time I get a light on my motherboard that says VGA next to it. I look it up in the manual and sure enough it says no VGA output.I open up the PC and unplug and remove the graphics card and inspect it. There seems to be no physical damage. I plug it back in and sure enough it works. But now every time my computer shuts off, this same problem occurs. Its happened once a day for the last 3 days.
