  1. Well.. Got back my stuff and it doesnt look pretty. Workedd just fine for some time. Opened witcher 3, after closing screen went black and i had to shut down the pc. Restart button would still keep monitor black. Keyboard also for some reason didnt work. tried HDMI cable, but still got artifacts and problems. Ran sfc and all was good.. what could be causing this? Could the Integrated graphics be interfering? 68181428_WhatsAppVideo2021-07-15at16_20_32.mp4 WhatsApp Video 2021-07-15 at 16.20.30.mp4
  2. For some reason i did not run those tests bfore sending as an RMA... I guess they will instead. Wall power isnt the issue since i tried connecting to a different power outlet. What is a faulty game client? The issue occurs, most of the time, not within a game but rather when booting steam, exiting a game and shortly after etc.. **Just remembered something that might be important. When entering a game, before the issue started, the monitor switched to HDR mode for some reason even though I was connected through displayport.. Screen went black after exiing said game and nothing would come back untill i restart. The restart itself was much longer than usual. Could this somehow be the cause of the issue?
  3. Hey brotha! Glad to be back, done with my tests and can finally reply. I tried downclocking, switching with restore point and more. Weird thing is, its different than last time where the screen would just go black and fans spinned realy fast. No artifacts tho. I RMAd my whole build and i guess they will find something b process of elimination. Could it be a faulty PCIe cable? I havent switched it at all for quite some time.. Could it be RAM or the CPU? **Last thing, dunno if i mentioned but i did run heaven and FurMark and heaven finished the benchmark and ran for quite long..Furmark too ;/ Weird that it didnt crash
  4. Exactly what i thought xD RMA the whole rig since the parts i bought are all from the same store. Again highly appreciate you answering. Just noticed that when the problem occured during overwatch, it read "rendering device lost", screen went black, icons disappeared and green artifacts showed.. About the windows. Do i later remove the 2nd windows from the partition? And just to make sure, i can reinstall the NVMe while the other partition is active and with a windows install?
  5. thank you for the detailed reply. I'll try to ask a friend. Can you elaborate a bit about the windows installation just in case? Never tried it so it might help. The fresh install, if its on my nvme, youre saying to install on a different disk?
  6. yeah.. happend once more with a different PCIe You think its not even the gpu? Well it makes sense since games run fine and it happens at random intervals.. What could it be though? Will a complete reinstall of windows help? I tried rolling back with a restore point and it would still occur.
  7. Hey there! **Any help is highly regarded. Just got a new Gpu from previous RMA. Previous one would do something similar but without the artifacts. Each time i entered a game the screen would go black and the fans spinned really fast. It doesnt happen here and it happens randomly, not only in games... This one worked completely fine for a few days. Out of nowhere, screen would turn off and flicker, I would have green artifacts and all sorts of weirdness.. When this issue happens, screen, as ive said goes black for a few seconds, and when it turns on again all my desktop icons turn invisible (?) and are visible again if i hover my mouse icon over them.. No overheating. All parts in my case are new. Happened without overclock too. ( I had a slight one ). Tried moving card to other pcie slot and havent experienced anything out of the ordinary, but the second slot is 16X (max 4x support). Only the first one supports 16X.. I have read that generally the motherboard isnt the first to blame in such a case, but rather PSU or memory. I have ran memtest and all seemed fine- though it ran for an hour which might not be enough. Edit: it wasnt the PCIe slot... What can it be? My pc: ASUS Z390 plus gaming RTX 2070 GIGABYTE WINDFORCE i7 8700 16GB RAM Gskill TridentZ 850W PLUS Gold Corsair Windows is on m.2 NVMe
  8. Not necessarily.. I have a high end system with a new motherboard... Asus for example just doesn't have the option in bios, and my asus mobo is tuf z390 plus gaming, not old at all But does that mean it should or shouldnt enable it in windows? Thanks in advance!
  9. Hey, Well its always open on the second screen and well.. thats the head scratcher, nothing is taking that much memory in the background other than the game..
  10. Nothing is open and how can i check what the game uses? Found out that pagefile wasnt system managed which helped but still 90% load and it shouldnt crash..i have 16GB of ram
  11. should i do a system restore? or reset windows? my last restore point is from 8 months ago..
  12. So as the title suggest I had multiple games crash because of this and when going over hwinfo i saw 99.8 % virtual memory load.. 11GB of RAM used and 20GB of virtual memory..thats a lot.. Any suggestions? pagefile is system managed** Any help Is appreciated! Thanks in advance.
  13. Worked my man! My hhd's were awful and 5 years old already.. bought plenty of ssd space, moved all my games there which took like 3 hrs but now they are butter smooth. Also the cpu issue with the temperature jumps and it reaching from 57 to 82 in a second was for some reason my mobo after updating it, it put the vcore to 1.36... which is ridiculous for the i7 8700. Changed to 1.2 and vccio to 1, standby 1.1 and one more setting i forgot. Problem solved ;3
