Hey guys.
So, since my cousin told me that she will go to the USA, I could ask her to bring a nice CPU and MOBO for me. The country where I live are way expensive.
But I don't know which one to get, since I'm not thinking of spending that much since I just use my PC for gaming only.
Cons of AMD:
- Higher core count
- PCI-E 4.0 (main reason for going AMD)
Cons of Intel:
- Better single core performance
- Better for gaming
Here's what I'm planning for the future:
- I'm planning in using SLI, that's why I'm thinking of these CPU's, and not the Ryzen 9 or 9900k. After a long search, I found that running SLI x16/x16 is way better, not only for higher FPS, but for stuttering and tearing.
- Since I probably will spend a lot in CPU and MOBO, I plan that they will last for at least a few years.
- About the GPU's, I will wait for RTX 3000 (maybe?) series, since RTX 2080S and 2080ti are way expensive.
Can you guys help me or give some tips?
Thanks and of couse, sorry for my English.
TL,DR: A good CPU for SLI, while considering PCI-E 4.0 for future proofing and x16/x16 mode.
