  1. i think its safe to say at this point that the fact it works with benchmarks perfectly is a good signal that it is driver related and i should just wait for a new release for the time being. Especially considering reinstalling drivers temporarily stopped my flickering issue which I discovered earlier.
  2. do you think its motherboard related? it shouldnt be if it worked fine with an nvidia card though, correct?
  3. I just tried that and had the same issue still
  4. Just exchanged the card and still having the display issue
  5. I just tried that and had the same issue still
  6. is there anything i can do to solve that until they get their ducks in a line?
  7. I have an msi optix g24c. I swapped the card out with a gtx 1050 and it ran flawlessly same cords and everything. I've tried it with free sync on and off as well as the virtual super display setting or whatever it's called. I'll check the enhanced sync and try a clean driver install in a bit.
  8. I'm using displayport but the same thing happened when I used hdmi
  9. I just recently bought an rx5700xt, ryzen7 3800x and an x570 board. After installing drivers my screen would flicker on and off unless i set my monitor refresh rate to 60hz instead of 144, in game i don't get higher than 50 fps at any variation of settings. The only time i could get it to 2000mhz is under stress tests and even then i only get 50fps at either 4k or 720p. Ive updated my bios, gotten all the drivers i should need, I'm not thermal throttling because the hottest i hit is 48 Celsius. Should I exchange the card? Is there a setting i can change? I don't know.
