  1. Ordered a new PSU from that tier list. Went with a gold unit from tier A. Will be able to update tomorrow. My question is if it's not the PSU what else could it be?
  2. Yeah, I got it years ago. It's lasted a while lol. I'm mindblown a PSU can cause this issues but work fine for my 3950x
  3. CORSAIR CX Series Modular CX750M 750W 80 Plus Bronze ATX Power Supply Black CP-9020061-NA - Best Buy that's the exact one I am using
  4. I'll order a new PSU today. Any best bang for buck 850W power supply's out there? Should I aim for Gold Rating or is bronze fine?
  5. The main reason I was iffy about it being a PSU is because it will do this even when just idle on a webpage. PSU could still cause this?
  6. Cooler is an ARCTIC Freezer 34 eSports DUO Temps never go above 64/65. Case is a Corsair Air540 PSU is a Corsair CX750M ( their older unit with green txt )
  7. Hello Everyone. I'll try to be quick and to the point! I've recently upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 3950x to the 5950X. When on the 3950X I had zero issues. Since making the switch to the 5950x my PC now will crash at random. Monitors turn off. Nothing I do makes the PC responsive other then a reboot. This will happen when gaming or when just browsing the web. Temps are fine. Everything is up to date including bios. I just can't seem to figure out the issue. Again, never had the issue with the PC until making the upgrade to the new 5950x. My specs are as follows. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 32.0GB Dual-Channel ( 3600 ) B450 TOMAHAWK MAX GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Intel 660p Series M.2 2280 750W Corsair PSU I'm wondering if somehow it could be the power supply but I'm not sure why I'd have this problem only after swapping the CPU vs before? Everything is kept at stock. No overclocks. Any help would be greatly Appreciated!
  8. I'm mainly doing it so I don't have to worry about the entire SLC cache filling up deal. Managing my system as just one drive vs two is easier for me. I've heard running multiple emulator can benefit from faster drives. I had a single Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe which worked great. Speeds were super fast. No issues at all. But I managed to find these 660p drives for $65 each ( 1TB Models ) so i snagged two of them for the price of my one drive. They are about half the speed the Sabrent was. In raid 0 they run slightly faster then the one. So does raid 0 not give performance issues like blue screens or laggy mice?
  9. Hello LTT Fam! Back with another question. Rather then bore you with a long dragged out intro I'll be sure to get right to the point. I recently purchased a pair of 1TB Intel 660P NVME SSDs. My plan was to set them in Raid 0 and limit the drive size so I don't have to worry about the SLC cache getting full making the drives become crazy slow. Here's my issue/concern. Since setting to raid 0 I've noticed my pc acting bit odd. Seems to be buggy more often and I am randomly getting blue screen every so often. I use this pc mainly to game and run android emulators like Memu often have 8 running at a time. I'm wondering if it's my ram but I can't seem to remember this issue happening before I set to raid 0. Specs if Needed are. Windows 10 Pro N 64-bit Intel Core i7 7700K STRIX Z270H GAMING 16GB RAM 2080 Ti
  10. Yeah I feel ya lol. I was never planning on getting a new GPU until I saw the difference in streaming quality with their new cards. Seeing as to how cheap you can get them I figured it was for sure a smart buy vs trying to upgrade my entire rig. That's why I'm aiming for the cheapest card with the chip. I'm hoping the 1650 Super is decently cheap. Then getting that card will be pretty much be the obvious choice.
  11. All this now I'm seeing they are releasing a 1650 in a few days. Givin this will be the same quality encoding I'm wonder what the price should be and just wait for that. I had no idea a new card with that encoding chip was coming on the 22nd.
  12. I had a feeling the encoder was the same on both. What I was wondering as well is if the memory speed difference and what not would matter for something like this. I'm assuming it doesn't but I'm not very good on GPU knowledge. Will the quality be the same for these cards as well as the higher tier cards? As long as it has the Turning Architecture.
  13. Hello Linus Tech Tips Forum! My names Juke. But You'll know me as BubbaJ! I'm a bit of a nerd. Always talk nerd talk. But I need to get to the bottom of this and figured I might as well join the Linus fam here other then just on YouTube. So here's my question/dilemma. For pure live streaming. Which GPU would work better? The 1660Ti or the 1660 Super? I can get the Ti for the same price as the super. So price isn't the issue for me. I'm just wondering which would work out better as a dedicated NVENC Encoder for live streaming. That would be it's only use. Right now I'm leaning towards the TI because I've heard it's the overall better card when it comes to gaming. But I don't need this card for gaming purpose. Would the encoding be the same on each card so the final answer would just be get whichever is cheaper? Or does it make more sense to get one over the other? Thank you all for your advice in advanced! Juke
