On the market for a new 144hz monitor to replace my old 60hz 27” BenQ since I’ve recently built a pc (Ryzen 3600/NVIDIA 2060 Super). Should I go for a 1440p 27” 144hz or a 1080p 24” 144hz?

I’ve Recently built a pc (Ryzen 3600/2060 Super) and I’m on the market for a 144hz display. I’ve set my eyes on the ASUS TUF VG249Q 144hz IPS 1ms display, but I’ve also been looking at the BenQ XL2411P 144hz TN 1ms display since I’ve heard IPS panel have some unwanted motion blur. I’m switching from my 60hz TN panel 1ms BenQ RL2755 with no complaints of the color produced on the display. I play mostly FPS and Minecraft, with the occasional Tomb Raider game. I’m wondering which display will be the best in the end. If you have any ideas please let me know

Looking to buy the ASUS XG27VQ monitor. So far it seems pretty good, however all the reviews I can find of it are from 2 years ago. Wondering how it holds up today for a price point of $390 CDN. If you can help that’d be great:)

BenQ XL2536 v.s ASUS XG27VQ Recently built a pc and looking for a 144hz monitor. I have my eye set on these two. The BenQ is priced at $400 CDN and the ASUS at $380 CDN. I’m not looking at a cheaper VA panel MSI or AOC 144hz monitor because all are either currently out of stock, or not much cheaper than the ASUS so imo worth upping my budget.

Buddy of mine is planning out a pc build for streaming while gaming. Which CPU would he benefit most from?

I’ve Recently built a pc and I’m currently using a BenQ RL series 75hz monitor . I’m looking for a high refresh rate monitor, and I was looking at the BenQ XL2430 but specs wise it seems expensive, but if it’s worth it I’ll buy it. Are there any similar priced monitors Or cheaper monitors that are better? I mostly game (primarily FPS) but I also watch movies and tv shows a decent amount. I have an NVIDIA card, so g sync would be nice, but it seems most monitors aren’t g sync unless they’re $150 extra.

Even if the TN has G Sync compatibility?

Recently built a computer and looking for a 144hz+ monitor and can’t decide over two monitors both by ASUS. ASUS TUF 24" FHD 144Hz 1ms GTG IPS LED FreeSync Gaming Monitor (VG249Q) or ASUS 24" FHD 165Hz 1ms GTG TN LED G-Sync Gaming Monitor (VG248QG)? Both are exactly $250 CDN. I have an NVIDIA graphics card too.

Im building a pc using an MSI B450i mini itx board and it only has two fan headers. One for the cpu cooler, and another for the case fans. Would I have a problem connecting 3 case fans to one header through a 1-to-3 fan splitter cable?

24 pin connector looks like 1 pin is empty. Is this normal? It’s an EVGA GD 700W 80 plus gold PSU.

should I buy an EVGA 2060 Super for $530 CDN, or an MSI 2070 Ventus for $560 CDN? Don’t want AMD drivers, so these are my options. I know that the 2070 is more powerful, but is it worth the extra $30, or should I go with the 2060 super from a great brand like EVGA?

I’m building a mini itx pc, and the MSI B450i GAMING PLUS AC I’ve chosen only has two fan headers. One for the cpu cooler, and one for case fans. I plan on using 3 case fans in addition with the cpu cooler. Would it work if I plugged a splitter cable into the case fan header and connected two fans, and then another splitter into the cpu fan header and connected the cpu cooler and the remaining case fan to the splitter?

So do You think G sync compatibility is worth it?

I was wondering if I should buy an ASUS 165hz 24” G-Sync compatible monitor for $300, or an Alienware 240hz Freesync monitor for $340(its refurbished so that’s why it’s cheap). If I have an NVIDIA gpu, should I go for the 165hz g sync monitor, or opt for the very slightly more expensive 240hz monitor, without G sync?
