  1. the cpu seems to be glued to the heatsink, i cant even get it to budge or anything and floss wont even fit in between the heatsink and cpu there is no space
  2. ok so i really hop i didnt just destroy my motherboard and cpu. after using the stock cooler for ryzen 3600, i got my aftermarket cooler in the mail. after unscrewing the cooler from the motherboard, i attempted to remove the cooler from the heatsink only to have it rip out the cpu from the motherboard. after inspection it seems like the cpu is glued onto the heatsink for some reason, ive never had a cpu be this difficult to remove. the stock cooler came with what appeared to be pre applied paste that i had not seen before but i hope i did not screw this up somehow. and tips on how i should proceed would be helpful.
  3. yeah this helped. i think restarting the program helped a little. although my cpu still spikes to 100% sometime while playing destiny 2, which isnt a very demanding game i dont think.
  4. i have no idea what its using. im fairly curtain my drivers are up to date.
  5. i'm having trouble getting my cpu to not run at 100% because some background processes keep taking up some usage. I don't have the best cpu, i5 4460 at 3.2Ghz but i feel like it shouldn't be running at 100% when i'm just playing one game and nothing else is open except task manager and msi afterburner. I did notice a program called WMI Provider Host that is taking up about 10% of cpu usage. i think this is a system process but not that familiar with system processes.
