  1. no I dont think so I can try using my old CPU mobo combo and see if the new power supply fixed the old issue? I might have 2 dead cpus on my hands tho
  2. Ive done that and moved ram to all different dimm slots, Ive also reseated the GPU and tried disconnecting everything but CPU and PSU... still same issue
  3. So basically Ive just got a brand new mobo and power supply because my PC wasnt turning on, and I got a CPU from a friend that fits the AM4 chipset (specifically a 1700x I think) and when my friend placed it into the box it was facing straight down and still on the cooler LOLL I tried to use it in my PC and now its stuck in boot loop. Could it be the CPU or is it something sketchy with all the new parts? Pics attached of full build and the CPU pins
  4. I got some new parts after a weird issue where my pc woudnt boot, but a few RGB components would. So I bought a new power supply and motherboard for a CPU my friend was willing to give me that he used in the past. Long story short the new mobo, CPU, and power supply are installed and now the PC is stuck in a boot loop. Could it be damaged CPU? it wasn't placed back in the box exactly elegantly haha
  5. Hi y'all, I've had the same PC for a while now and I think i've pushed the thing to it's limit. It's pretty bad, we're talking Pentium CPU, i've got the most optimized settings for every game and can push 50-60 fps with most old games. I've done minor upgrades to this PC but overall still a hodgepodge of components from my shelf. Soon i'm building a complete PC (pretty budget parts albeit, as it's my first time) but im pretty excited! Any tips for a first timer like me?
